It's a good espresso machine, takes a while to learn how to use it. They have to work on minimize the waste of water but it does worth the price.

Had this machine 4 months when the steam stopped working meaning it wasn’t getting hot anymore. Kept calling the Breville ppl and they will give u the run around. U have to be persistent and keep calling. They wanted me to descale. I’m like common sense says the water gets hot but the steam doesn’t so it’s not the temp and the machine isn’t used enough to need to be descaled. I descaled. Called back and they said they needed to watch me descale via video chat. Such a waste of descaling packets. It didn’t work as I figured it wouldn’t. Then they kept trying to get me to adjust and increase the temp. Also don’t work. Finally by like the 4th or 5th call they sent me a label to send machine to be fixed. Was never told what was wrong with it after it was sent to Cali and fixed and sent back to me. Oh and call center is out sourced so it’s hard to underatand ppl. And they don’t know the machine either. They reading manual to tell u how to fix it. It’s a joke. I only had this for 4 months when steam stopped getting hot. And I barely used it. Maybe once or twice a week. But if ur machine quits working be sure to get it fixed before warranty is up!!!

With quality beans this machine can make espresso as tasty as your local barista. Set up takes a bit of time (cleaning and ensuring you are using it properly) but it is one and done and sooo worth it. I have purchased maybe 10 Breville products and like this machine, they are terrific quality and dependable. You will love this machine - just stick with it as you learn the ropes in the early days of ownership.

After using this machine a few weeks. Have come to the conclusion that I made the right choice . very easy to get set up for my taste and type of coffee the simple easy dump feature is awesome don't have to smack it to get the puck out.Not cheap but worth it.

I’m very pleased with the espresso maker. The only issue I have sometimes is the coffee bean hopper/ grinder needs a little help pulling the beans down. Overall a good machine.

We love our Breville, took a little while to get used to as this is our first espresso machine but it’s very easy to use. I would like the water reservoir to be a little larger and maybe the temperature to be a little hotter for my tea (or maybe I need to figure that out). The setting for the grinder is nice as well!
