A year and a half is how long it lasted until the grinder locked up. Great while it lasted. If you purchase this espresso machine be sure and get the extended warranty.

I really liked the machine but for some reason the grinder button just stop working. I hope my warranty will cover that.

She says the coffee she makes by hand is just as good therefore nothing special about the machine

bad quality

The water tank broke done when I was lifting the handle as instructed by the user manuel. It is connected by some small plastic parts that broke up easily.
