Don't hesitate, just click buy!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a similarly priced Gaggia for years, it finally bit the dust. I was hesitant to buy a Breville, thinking it wouldn't be as 'quality' of a product. I was wrong, this thing is AWESOME! It looks really nice on the counter, and it seems like a lot of thought was put into the design, down to the hidden storage drawer for the extra parts. The tamper fits magnetically out of the way, and everything is right where you need it. Not much of a learning curve if you are used to a non-pod espresso system. The frother makes amazing foam as well.

8 Month Review
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would I buy this again? Yes and no. First and foremost, this is a great product, I use it everyday and have not experienced any issues whatsoever. It is built well and works exactly as advertised. It’s also not for everyone, as there is a learning curve. The espresso you pull will be subject to user error, so the better your skills — the better the result. I started with no skills, but it did not take long to start pulling some really good shots. YouTube is your friend and there are a lot of great resources that will have you pulling great shots in no time. I do not regret this purchase and it has lived up to all of my expectations. There are some shortcomings of this machine. The most annoying is the non-standard portafilter size that limits the accessories for this machine. There are a couple of companies making accessories specifically for Breville, but there is a world of tools that are not compatible with this machine. I glossed over this when I bought the machine, but it is more annoying than I initially realized. The steam wand is good not great. It works but it takes time to build up steam. It can be difficult to make several drinks in a row with consistent results. In my opinion I believe that this is the best machine in its price category to make a latte that tastes better than your average commercial coffee shop. The downside is that now I have learned how to use it, I am addicted to the process and science of making espresso. This is a very good machine to learn on, but in the future, I will upgrade to a machine that has more bells and whistles, with a more standard portafilter size. If you don’t feel like spending thousands on an espresso machine, this is a perfect option and will absolutely make a great espresso.

Café-Quality Espresso at Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Breville Barista Express has completely transformed my morning routine. The built-in grinder is convenient and delivers fresh, consistent grounds every time, and the espresso quality rivals what I get at a coffee shop. The pressure gauge helps dial in the perfect shot, and the steam wand makes rich, creamy milk for lattes and cappuccinos. The stainless steel design looks great on the counter and feels very durable. It takes a little practice to master, but once you do, the results are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for any coffee lover who wants café-quality drinks at home.

Best Espresso Machine for this price range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the espresso I can make with this machine. Coffee beans are ground perfectly and the crema that is created once the coffee is extracted is fantastic. It is great for a novice espresso maker and also those who are more experienced. The steamer is also fantastic. I make lattes with a thick, decadent foam and am able to do latte art perfectly with the density of the foamed milk. It's a fun machine and easy to use. I no longer go to Starbucks, because the coffee I make at home is much better! If you don't know how to make fresh espresso I suggest doing a little research first (on pressure, the coarseness of the grind, etc.) that will perfect your technique. It's a beautiful looking machine as well. Totally love it.

Elite Espresso Machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing quality, design and easy to use. Breville has design a very easy to use and operate espresso machine that can make your coffee taste better than any of your local shops. Stainless steel design is very easy to clean and maintain. Recommend getting a mat to easy move coffee machine around your table top. The warranty offered by Breville is also good investment of your product.

Breville Barista Express Espresso Machine Review
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Breville Barista Express for a while now, and overall, it’s been a great experience! The espresso quality is fantastic—honestly, it feels like I’m enjoying a cup from a high-end coffee shop right in the comfort of my home. The design and build quality are exceptional. It’s clear that Breville put a lot of thought into creating this machine. It looks sleek on my countertop and feels sturdy, which is always a plus for appliances like this. That said, the milk frother and grinder are still a bit of a challenge for me to master, even after some time. This machine is definitely more manual than I anticipated, which can be a good thing for those who love to experiment and perfect their craft. However, looking back, I think I might have preferred a more automated machine to simplify the process. If you’re someone who enjoys having control over every aspect of your espresso-making process, this is a fantastic choice. But if convenience and automation are more your style, you might want to explore Breville’s more automated models.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am writing this review for those of you who are on the fence about this amazing product, if so please let me give you a little proverbial push! I love my Breville Barista Express machine. It grinds your own fresh whole beans as well as it uses your favorite pre- ground coffee. It makes delicious Europeon tasting Espresso along with all the other rich creamy drinks you get at 5 star Coffee shop but from the comforts of home. And one of best things is, it’s surprisingly easy to keep clean.

Best For Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4 Stars because this model has been $599 for many years, this year it went up to $699 with a 1 year warranty but nothing is new about it. The other Breville espresso makes have 2 year warranty's. OK, with that out of the way it's still the best complete espresso maker under $1,000 (meaning it has a grinder built in and a non-pressurized basket to make real espresso shots. So it's still a good buy. Can you get better, yes, like a Gaggia Pro for $450 and a $400 good grinder separate will make better shots in a full size 58mm portafilter, but that is not for everyone and you would be at $150 more. So yes this $700 complete unit is still the best at this price point hands down.

Perfect cup!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was my first expresso machine. I have waited a year for purchasing this specific model till the price finally dropped this year. The machine is very pretty and easy to be used. Just watched some YouTube videos to figure out the pressure. So far, 90% chances I got a decent cup of double shots with this machine. It really depends on the beans that you used. Fresh beans are always the best. Hopefully it can last couple years if I follow the maintenance schedule carefully.

Good enough for everyone! Don't spend more
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great way to get into espresso. Is it expensive? Yes. Is the the most expensive/best? No. This is the gateway drug of espresso for many many people. The grinder on here is decent, but you can definitely do better. The portafilter is good enough, but can be improved. The frother is nothing to write home about. But all of this is something only a espresso snob would tell you. The machine is easy to use, offers great features, and can be used to replace whatever coffee you normally pay $5-10 each for. Again, it's not the best machine out there. But the more you experiment with machines and equipment the more you will realize that this is able to produce great espresso shots. You can get better of course, but it's not to say that a machine that costs double this one will produce coffee 2x better. It will be marginally better. If you are starting out, pull the trigger. Learn how to master this machine, and when/if you want to make marginally better coffee then you can think of upgrading to something better.

Breville A Barista In Your Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought my wife this machine for her birthday because it was her number one wishlist item. She loves it and now makes us a professional cup of coffee every morning. The milk frother is loud though and can be a bit annoying plus there is maintenance, but overall it's worth the time and effort. Investing in a separate handheld milk frother can speed things up.

Good but some issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given this 5 stars at first as it worked great. However, after two months of intermittant use there are issues. We follow the recommended cleaning schedule with daily/weekly actions and followed troubleshooting instructions but it sometims (randomly it seems) spews water everywhere even when just using the hot water feature. The steam wand takes a long time to start and the steam is not as consistent as it was at first. We clean it after each use as recommended. Too bad as we really like the unit.

Great beginners machine!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is perfect for beginning baristas. It does take a bit to get used to, but once you dial it in, it really is great. The frother attachment works beautifully once you get the hang of it. I highly suggest you read the manual first. They have included some really useful tips and tricks in there to help get you started. The most difficult part for me was getting the tamp just right. Once you've mastered that it's really fast and easy to pull perfect shots every time. I really love that everything you need to get started is right in the box. Of course you can always upgrade down the road. Which is what I plan to do. All in all it really is a great espresso machine.

Best Machine Ever!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been wanting this machine for a while so when I got it as a valentines gift, I was very excited. It is super easy to use and makes the best espresso. It’s really not as difficult as people make it look online. Personally, i recommend this model over the ones with screens. I really like the gage showing how your shot is going to come out. 10/10

Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extraordinary in every way. I've had my eye on this coffee maker for close to a decade, but never felt comfortable pulling the trigger on a $600 machine. Fortunately, my father-in-law already had one of these available for me to try when we stayed with them over the holidays. One of the best cups of coffee I've had coming out of a someone's home. I immediately started justifying logical reasons for me to own one of these. I purchased one as a gift to myself after hitting my bonus at work earlier this year. I went to Starbucks for the first time in weeks the other day and noticed in my app that I had only visited a Starbucks three times since I purchased this machine several months prior. At $3-$5 a cup (while on the road traveling for work), I see that I've already saved $200-$300 making a large roadie before I leave for work each day. If you can spring it, this machine is AMAZING! Easy to use, easy to clean, very efficient with the built-in grinder (adjustable) and water tank.
