This is the best thing I've ever purchased. I make my espresso every morning. Make sure you turn it on 20 minutes before you use it. Before every cup you make, just let hot water run, so the residue from the last washes off.

i am a manager at a coffee house and this machine right here is honestly amazing! It makes the espresso takes better then the espresso machine does at my work! And that should say something! I love waking up and making my self a latte! Hot/iced or even frozen if you have a blender! I truly love my espresso machine!

Great beginner machine. Definitely pays for itself rather than going to Starbucks everyday. Takes a little effort but one you get the hang of it its fast and simple.

This is a great machine for people who like the real deal. I had a fully automated machine and a Nespresso which are simpler, but didn't satisfy me. I read the instructions pretty quickly and got this machine set up and turning out great espresso, crema and all, within a couple of hours.

Such a great espresso machine!! As long as you keep up with maintenance cleaning, this machine is solid. Since I live in household of 6 coffee drinkers haha we needed to upgrade on a milk frother but other than that, pretty neat espresso machine. I’d recommend buying Lavazza espresso beans and you will get the perfect coffee, latte, cappuccino, or macchiato with this machine. Great for teas as well.

Espresso machines are expensive, period. If you want the best basic one, go with this Breville Barista Express. It does all the basics for being able to make really good cafe style espresso drinks (much better than starbucks!) The only downside is that you have to learn how to dial in coffee beans and steam milk, which comes with a lot of practice. So this is not the easiest to use of machines. But the more automated ones are much more expensive. Great quality, though, and looks great on the kitchen counter, too.

Its definitely a high quality esspreso machine. I haven't gone to Starbucks since I bought this. My lattes taste amazing and the frother great. You just have to read the manual throughly to understand how to pull a prefect esspreso. Fine grind the beans & program it to a higher temp. Follow the manual instructions for cleaning. I was looking for an upgrade from a Mr coffee machine & this exceeded my expectations.

Love this machine. Durable, have cleaned, descaled, and changed out filter three times since purchase. If you wait too long, the machine will tell you when no coffee comes out! No biggie, perform the maintenance and you’re good to go. Be sure to have the supplies ready to go. This machine is for coffee lovers. Makes great coffee, even if you do no know how to dial in your coffee by using the provided expreso pressure measured cup, but if you want to become a coffee savant, this is the machine for you.

After carefully following the instructions this Breville machine has made the best cafe that I’ve ever had outside of a Cuban Cafe window shop. The foam or how my Cuban grandmother would’ve called it “crema” was absolutely amazing. Best cafesito period!

The aroma of making the coffee at home is the best!!!! Our last Breville coffee maker lasted over 10 years!!!

I freaking love this machine. As a coffee lover i have to say that this is the perfect semi professional espresso machine to have at home..... i dont know what else to say.... sure some stuff could be better like having a double boiler and better grindr but just to have them there in one machine with that price its all u would ever need.
