This is my replacement for a DeLongi that I owned. The fresh grind is the best. I also like the features built in steamer and hot water dispenser. So easy to set up and operate. I just had one issue for the installation to figure out grind switch but tech support was prompt to help. The set up guide could be better.

I was new to home espresso brewing when I purchased my Breville barista express machine. I was impressed by the fact that both of my adult children had already shared their positive experiences with the same unit. It’s simple to operate with just the right amount of options to make your own espresso creation. Single or double shots can be easily accomplished with freshly ground beans straight from the machine’s built in grinder. Set your desired level of fineness of grind by the roll of a dial.

This machine wa exactly what I was looking for. From the moment you open the box, it screams class. But it's not until after you have consistently perfect espresso that you really appreciate not wasting all that time and money at the local coffee shop. I haven't tried making cappuccino yet but I imagine it will work just as well for that. It took me three weeks to choose which machine I wanted and boy! Am I glad I did my research because this one was worth the extra effort. Enjoy!

Never thought that a product could improve my mornings so significantly. Easy to use, easy to clean, and makes great espresso. If you are thinking about or have purchased: A good starter coffee is: Lavazza crema e aroma Also, consider buying a tamper, the one that comes with the machine does a descent job but a heavier one off amazon helps create more consistent pulls of espresso.

Excellent product. Pressing the power button, starting on the grinder, and making my morning espresso is super easy. The built-in grinder makes life so much simpler. I highly recommend it to the professional who must wake up and go in the morning.

If you’re spending 200 a month on coffee highly recommend buying this ! 1 it’ll save you money 2 it’ll become a hobby 3 if you’re a person that likes routines this is perfect for you , nothing beats the coffee smell , it is going to take some getting use to but once you get the hang of it it’s life changing ! It makes a good shot of espresso! I've had many of these, what I call "fancy coffee" machines. I paid more for some, less for others. I used to move often and it seemed every move, my fancy coffee machine would break and start leaking inside (probably due to freezing). Well, now I'm settled permanently (I hope), so here I go again. This machine is still pretty new to me, and although I like the quick convenience of a "pod" type coffee maker, when I can devote a few minutes to crafting a really premium coffee beverage, this machine delivers. The pros: looks nice, fairly sturdy build quality with lots of metal, heats up pretty quickly, recovers quickly between shots, really nice heavy high quality porta-filter, contains a VERY, VERY nice grinder that is precise and consistent as well as compatible with bean hoppers from Breville's stand alone top-of-the-line grinders, handy inside filter storage and magnetic tamper storage, single and double wall filters supplied, nice ball-jointed frothing wand, but best of all this machine is VERY customizable. Single and double-shot volume is adjustable, grind size and volume have lots of adjustment range (also manual volume control by holding the porta-filter in), brew temperature can be customized over a range of several degrees, and bean hoppers can be unlocked and removed (swapped) with beans still inside. The frother works fine but I usually use a separate induction type frother. The cons (all very minor): It's a little messy. It spits a little when brewing. To dispense a full dose into the porta-filter at my preferred grind setting (3), there's some spill-over, even if I shake the handle a bit during the grind. I don't think this can be avoided in anything other than a super-automatic machine and I hate cleaning those things. I deal with this by reducing the grind volume by half, tamping it down, then grinding in the other half. The porta-filter comes with a dual-outlet nozzle, but I never brew into two cups. Sometimes I want to brew into a very small cup, but the dual nozzles won't both hit it. If you unscrew and remove the dual nozzle, the porta-filter won't sit flat and level on its own while tamping. This is a minor annoyance. It doesn't have provision for a direct plumbed water supply (I know that's a big ask, but it's what I want). Overall: I love this machine. When I'm not using it, it sits there looking nice. When I use it, I realize how good coffee can be. I hope it long outlasts its warranty.

Just buy it, you won't regret it. I wish I bought it sooner !

This coffee maker is spectacular. It doesn't make noise and the coffee comes out super delicious. Perfect for when you have company and you don't want to waste the coffee because it makes 1 to 2 cups.

I am enjoying my new Breville Barista Express. Setup was not difficult and it allows me to brew great tasting espresso in minutes. I should have purchased this years (and hundreds of dollars at Starbucks) ago.

The is the best expresso coffee machine and is very easy to use! I’ve made a ton of coffees and only requires low maintenance. It makes delicious lattes! Better than store bought drinks.
