Breville Barista

Mystery as to why the descale harmed it. Have had several issues with this new one getting it tuned in. Haven’t been able to adjust shot volume, steamer shuts down when briefly turning aff to remove wand from milk, etc. Irritating so far.

Pricey but perfect

Great control over the little details. Only downside l, aside from price, is you end up drinking a lot more coffee than before.

You get what you pay for.

I like that the setup is easy and that all of the individual components have been thoughtfully arranged. I do wish they had a stainless steel backflush disc instead of the piece of rubber they give you, but it works decently well. Also, I think their cleaning brush is poorly designed as it makes brushing the brewing group while running hot water impossible to do without burning your fingers. Other than that, I'm happy with it and expect to use it for many years.
