Ok, I have to say I was anxious when I saw all the features it had. But in a very short time, I have learned to make one out of this world espresso and latte macchiato. Its features include a coffee grinder that ranges from 1 (extra fine) -10 (course). It has a water filtration system that keeps water deposits from damaging your machine. The machine has a cleaning system. It comes with a built-in wand for frothing. And yum. Who doesn't love the froth? It has a pressure gauge that allows you to read and then make adjustments to achieve the right pressure to create the perfect shot. It is extremely well-designed and solid. Breville thinks of and includes everything you need like a tamper, single and double wall filters, a blade for assuring the exact amount of grounds in the basket, a milk pitcher, cleaning tablets, and a water filter. I really recommend watching the YouTube video Breville created about this machine. I know it's a little pricey but it is totally worth it. I figure it will pay for itself in less than 5 months since I no longer go to the local espresso joint for my daily cup of joe.

This espresso machine is a game-changer, combining sleek design with powerful performance to deliver rich, café-quality coffee right at home. It does make a great espresso or cappuccino. It does measure water very accurately however, it does expell and waste a lot of water. Water waste may not mean a lot to many people but we use spring water and the machine expells water into the tray below. It is a noisy machine but it is heavy and seams to be made well. It is difficult to tune in at first and a challenge to use until you understand it. I worked as barista for a high end , high ouput restaurant for years. I feel i am qualified to accurately judge this machine. I hope you find this helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out a coffee machine that was without a doubt, the most awesome coffee machine I have ever used. The machine was incredibly easy to use, with a simple touch screen that allowed me to select my desired coffee strength and size at the touch of a button. The final product was a perfectly brewed, rich and flavourful coffee that tasted as if it had been made by a barista in a high-end coffee shop. The coffee machine was also incredibly easy to clean, with removable parts that could be washed in the dishwasher. Overall, this coffee machine is an absolute game-changer and a must-have for anyone who wants to enjoy high-quality coffee at home.

What a great machine for the price! this is easy to use, fun to use, and very high quality. I am a former barista (20+ years ago) and this produces high quality drinks. I am not being paid for this - I am a teacher. I just thought people would like to know to help them decide.

It’s a beautiful little piece of machinery. Being an espresso making novice, I almost let myself get overwhelmed and give up in the first couple of hours, but patience paid off (as did quite a few YouTube videos) and I was pulling delicious shots in no time. I almost went the super automatic route but I have to say it has been very satisfying to learn the process and develop the ritual of doing this myself…and breville gives you everything you need to do just that—I did invest in a few minor accessories after the fact but everything you need is in the box. Highly rrecommended!

Very nice espresso machine. Slick look, space saver and pretty straight forward use. Very easy to use and clean. You just need practice setting your grinder preference, feed amount, and milk steam. Once you get it, it’s the best coffee ever. Truly.

Oh yes indeed! I gawked at the price at first when my husband brough this magical machine home, however, we were spending $15 a day at local coffee shops! I am SO glad he got this. MAN it makes some good espresso! We like different roast of beans, and its not that hard to swap it out! I highly recommend this. I actually just made a Peppermint latte and thought..WOW I need to tell others about this. So here I am- telling you to add to cart!
