Even if you are a newbie like me, this machine is very beginner friendly and there are many many youtube videos of people reviewing this and showing you how to make good espresso. The quality of this unit has been pretty good so far. Great packaging and the stainless steel didnt have any scratches or blemishes when unpacking. If you love espresso and want one at home, you can't go wrong with this one.

I only drink 1 cup of cappuccino a day. My go to place was S’bucks. After getting the breville espresso maker, I realize how bad the quality of coffee was in Starbucks. I love the cappuccino that I can make. It’s quick to make and easy to clean. Settings are fairly intuitive and the all steel construction is classics breville. The consistency of the espresso is great.

This Machine grinds the beans, makes single or double shot espresso coffee and even froths the milk with its steam wand. It IS pretty much automatic but, needs effort to tune it. But if you do invest the time, you will be rewarded with excellent coffee. Every part of the process is highly configurable especially the grind size and amount of coffee used. The pressure gauge provides absolute feedback as the coffee is being produced and you can make adjustments for the next cup. Very happy with it!

I'm still learning all the cool gadgets on this thing, but the espresso making is simple to learn and I love that its all contained in a single appliance. Really adds a fantastic option for our weekends and late nights. The machine also allows the ability to get individual with your espresso through re-programming to make the perfect cup just for you.

This has easily been the best purchase I have made in a long time. This machine has already saved me money. Yeah its a little pricey, but so is Starbucks. That stuff adds up everyday. I use this thing all the time. It is easy to use and maintain. Have your espresso drink hot or make it iced. My suggestion to anybody thinking about buying this. Do it. You won't regret it. I would also suggest getting some different flavored syrups for lattes if you're into that.

I’ve been using this espresso machine for about 2 months, mostly for daily morning coffee. Perfect for beginners or anyone who wants café-style espresso at home without complicated settings.

At first I was so intimidated with this machine. Within a couple of uses it became so easy to use. I’m so glad I ordered this machine and I highly recommend it. It makes delicious cappuccinos. Simple to use and easy cleanup. I now look forward on making my drinks every morning!

I love this machine. It's super simple to learn how to use, is easy to clean, and makes delicious drinks. I usually make an Americano, which takes me about 4 minutes from start to finish. Grinding the coffee before every cup really does make a huge difference in the taste! The only thing I was a little bummed about is that it came with a dent on the front panel and we did not feel comfortable going into the store to exchange it. The knock box accessory is a must have!

The Barista Express is well worth the price and makes a fine dining-level espresso, latte or cappuccino. I have had one for nine years now with no problems. I recommend getting the model with the coffee grinder attachment because it is best to grind the beans immediately before brewing. Enjoy!

The Barista Express is a very well made machine with many great features. It literally heats up in 40 seconds and is ready to use. The built in grinder dispenses exactly the amount of coffee required to make a single or double shot of espresso. The machine comes with a stainless steel jug to make perfect frothy milk for cappuccino or latte and the wand works really well. There is storage under the machine for accessories and the drip tray is in 3 parts for each cleaning. However, we spent several weeks making adjustments to the grinder in order to get the perfect extraction. We have used the same fresh coffee beans for years and buy them regularly but it was very difficult to get the right setting to avoid the coffee being too bitter and just undrinkable. If you are not experienced in making fresh espresso, this machine may not be for you.

Worth every penny! This machine is super user friendly and very easy to use and maintain. It takes a little tinkering to get the compression of the grounds just right to hit the sweet spot for the pressure. I recommend using a “cheap” coffee bean to dial it all in, them switch to your brand of choice.

There exist a certain amount of touch and feel that goes into making the perfect espresso/latte. Having a electric grinder is a must to get a more consistent shot. The gauge and stop watch (20-25sec double) will help you get to your base line without having to taste test every under/over extracted shot. The steamer is also very easy to use and Helps provide a consistent froth. As with any machine that you want to last, you will have keep it clean, and this machine is as easy as it gets.

This is a great espresso maker that basically hits the easy button on making great coffee. It does everything you need to make great espresso, lattes, cappuccinos and even your favorite iced drinks. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to level up from regular drip coffee makers.

This machine Looks great in any kitchen. Most of Breville’s appliances are manufactured using attractive stainless steel, a durable, easy to clean material, meaning quality is second to none! I'm a relative bew user of this product, dont have anything negative to say beside that it takes a bit of countertop real estate, and the higher price point. So far the coffe is really different than a regular machine

Barista Express Espresso is a high quality coffee maker. It makes a smooth, rich, delightful shot. The milk frother is a game changer, adding a touch of sophistication.
