Great coffee maker

It’s pretty slow, but makes great coffee. Grinder do not stop automatically or at least we never figured out how to set it up. We checking the amount of coffee and then remove if from under the grinder.

For non espresso drinkers

The only coffee I like is Italian roasted brands and I have always had an Italian machine. This Breville machine is good for the regular person who is not demanding. I returned it the next day.

I did a lot of research on this machine as it has a lot of positive reviews. It never made espresso as it should, and I think maybe something was defective in the unit. I ended up returning it back to store.

Disappointing

So many issues

I've tried EVERYTHING. If I could go back I would just say stick to bustelo instant coffee instead. So expensive and difficult to get a perfect or decent shot of Expresso. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!

Not recommended. Too expensive.

Water drips down a tray, what an inconvenient feature, if I knew that I would never have purchased this item. Big, takes too much counter space. I would NOT recommend. You can get just as good coffee for a fraction of the price.

Frustrating

After barely two months, with the pressure gauge fluctuating each time, the gauge stopped working altogether. Would not recommend this machine.

Posted .Please run the following pressure test. Put the 1 cup dual wall filter into the portafilter. Next, put the cleaning disc into the filter. If your cleaning disc has a hole in the middle, please wrap it with a bit of plastic-wrap before putting it in the filter. Lock the portafilter into the group head. Press the 2 cup button. The gauge will eventually rise to the 9-bar (11:00) position or higher.
If the gauge moves, the issue isn't the machine, but the shot prep. Whether the gauge moves or not, we'll be happy to help you. Pays for itself in no time

It is not totally automated so takes some getting used to but for me that is part of the fun. I now have it down and make great lattes and caps. I plan to expand my drink knowledge soon. I would recommend this based on my first full month of ownership.

Loved it at first but broke in 10 days.

Then water would come untill the button unpressed. We were very dissipointed to return this item because it made very good coffee.

Not dor the family on the go

However, this machine requires a whole lot of guessing in order to get a good cup. Considering that different beans require different grind setting, getting a consistent good cup of joe on the go is diffcult. Ninja has one that takes all the guess work out of it. I returned this quickly.

I have done all the cleaning that I could, but the light never goes out. I was hoping it would last longer than 1 month. Still cleaning it and after 9 months, the light is still on.

Posted .If the light doesn't go out, it either means that the machine "thinks" the cycle was interrupted, or that the other cycle needs to be done.

DECEPTIVE BEST BUY CREDIT CARD PRACTICES

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE BEST BUY CARD. Also, you can get this machine for $150 less literally anywhere else, and there's a known issue with the basket pressure because breville likes to cut corners.

Breaks easily

The firt time it stopped working, we followed all instructions and nothing happened but when we left it on its own, it just started working again on its own. The third time it did it, it never worked again.
