I’ve been using my Breville Express Compress expresso coffee maker for about a month now. It was hard for me to spend this much money on a coffee maker but a Best Buy discount that I caught on my app made it more enticing. I have enjoyed using this machine and the Expresso is excellent. I have no regrets on my decision so far

Well worth the cost. Café style coffee at home is the best. Very easy to use and set up. Quality of the machine is very high. After contemplating this purchase for many months glad I pulled the trigger whole family is satisfied.

Overall, the coffee it makes is really good, but it’s a bit tricky to fine-tune the brew time while also getting the right dose. In my opinion, the automatic tamper is a bit too weak, which affects the extraction. Because of that, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The tamper plays a key role in brewing, so it would be great if it applied a bit more pressure.

This replaced my old Barista Express. Getting a consistent dose with Smart Dosing and a level Tamp is easy. Just slip your portafiller into the cradle, grind your beans and gently pull down the arm. No more struggling with tunneling. This machine gives two dose grinding options for those who still like to do it the old way, you still can . It’s a easy machine to use and makes great espresso.

Thinking about buying my first espresso machine I thought it was very expensive but I just started thinking that it was better for me to buy it and save money and if the reality paying 7 Dlls daily for a coffee is more expensive than the machine! I totally recommend it, it's very easy to use thanks to its size!

Small issues: This is our second espresso machine by Breville. The first chewed its main grinding gear up due to bad beans. Could be solved by not using a cheap plastic main gear…..especially for the cost of this item.
Cosmetic issue with this item: the top on the older model was stainless steel are now plastic! Functionally the grinder takes some trial and error. Always do a test press just encase someone did a grind and walked away!
Power button of the system is on the opposite side of the system compared to the older models so that has been another annoying factor. Go to hit a double shot and turn the system off…….
Other than those minor issue so far the system is working great.

This purchase has been a good decision, this coffee maker, despite being a little expensive, is very professional, it performs multiple functions from grinding coffee beans, making several types of coffee, providing hot water for tea and heating milk, I recommend it and give it 5 stars

Best barista ever! Now we don’t have to buy overpriced coffee anymore. This tastes even better. And we always get our names right. :)

I upgraded to this model from Philips 3200 Latte Go after using Philips for almost 2 years. I really liked Breville Express Impress. First it is convenient, easy to use and prepare espresso based drinks. The main reason for this for me is the automatic tampering. I am happy with this purhase.

I have had the impress for about 2 weeks. It took about a full bag to get the grind size correct and produce the best flavor. I found that setting on the grinder inside the hopper, and a 9 on the outter adjustment worked best for the Starbucks brand espresso. At the end of the day, it is super easy to clean and have the same grind puck each time. So far, I am happy with my purchase.

This is our second Breville. We bought the same one, with the exception in that the new one has a semi-automatic grind/presser providing the perfect amount everytime. And, much less mess!! We had our Breville for 14 years. So, it's well worth the money. Great coffee and enough features so you can dial in your particular crema.
