Love everything about this machine! Easy to use and easy to clean!

I love the concept ….. and I decided to keep it , but after return the first one and try another one I got convinced that it doesn’t make the coffee hot….

Best espresso machine i ever had e comes with grinder

I love this espresso, however, the grinder can’t stop by itself. Two shots espresso too little to compare with the other one

It’s a good machine but making it on a stove makes more. To me it wasn’t worth it. The grinding was the best part for me.

Initially, when I bought this, it was great. It did take me a little bit to figure out how much coffee etc. One day, it just quit working. I only had the machine for 27 days when it quit working. I called Breville and am still waiting on my replacement, thus the 1*

This was supposed to be a better upgrade to an off brand machine I’ve been using. After two days of trying to dial in this Barista Pro, over 3 lbs. of beans (fresh), it has not pulled one good tasting shot. I’ve watched so many videos and read how-tos and I’m way beyond stressed and frustrated. The grinder is sub par and produces clumps so you will always need to get rid of them with a WDT tool. I understand this isn’t a top of the line machine, but after reading reviews, I took the chance. I will be going back to using my old machine that was half the price and pulls much better shots. This will be going back.

Excellent machine. My wife uses it daily since I gifted it. Easy to clean, large capacity water. My only wish is if the bean hopper held a full bag of beans. Other than that is is excellent and still rates 5 stars

This review is not about this product, but the lack of customer service on another product which completely ceased to function. I was informed AFTER THE FACT that the return. policy was 15 days not 30 days. Best Buy says they are no longer going to stand behind product they sell. No wonder they are one the verge of bankruptcy. They offered no solution, no repair option, no replacement option. This was not an inexpensive item $899.

This coffee machine is a real headache. We encountered many problems even though we used it very little. The heating does not work while making coffee, sometimes it works as it pleases. Although we cleaned and maintained it, we were not satisfied.

Not really user friendly for a first time barista. I’ve tried watching videos on how to properly pull a shot and I can’t seem to get it. I wish I would’ve gotten something more user friendly because I can’t properly pull shots the “correct” way.

Way to difficult to use with adjusting everything setting the grind then you need to buy different items to help damp the coffee grinds correctly way to difficult it’s a amazing product worked amazing but just to complicating for me

I was happy with my Barista Pro until I began having extraction problems since it under extracts. I think it is a pump issue, since I have tried several solutions without success. Furthermore, I will contact support.

You definitely have to work for your coffee. I used a whole bag but couldnt quite dial it in right.

You'd think a proud nation like Australia would make their own products not have it slapped together in 'you know where'. Especially when it comes to stainless steel 'you know where' is infamous for atrocious quality. The machine is tacky and has a small 54mm non-standard portafilter. You would think for the price they would use the right size accessories and also use fairly paid labor in the land of oz itself.

This is the second machine we bought. The first one mill stopped working after 29 day. The second one the same problem exactly on 48th day. Machine is made in China. Stay away from it if you do not want the frustration.

Right off the bat, yes, this is a pricier machine. However, if you’re someone who loves and appreciates good quality coffee, this is a great purchase. It’s important to note that if you’re going to use a quality machine, you should put in a quality product. The place to skimp is NOT on cheap espresso/coffee. I did try both just to see how they compared. Since the Breville works very well, even average espresso was pretty good. However, for a truly memorable cup, go the extra mile and buy some good espresso (you won’t even miss coffee house coffee if you do). Set up of the Breville was simple and I was up and running very quickly. Making espresso is not the same as brewing a regular cup of coffee. It takes some practice and finessing to get it just right so have some patience if things aren’t exactly what you expect right away. This is a very sleek espresso machine and it runs smoothly. If you’re looking to improve on your own coffee and save some money in the long run (versus going to a coffee shop every day), this is a great way to go!
