I think the air fryer features is more complicated than it needs to be. Also, I wish the appliance came with a separate timer. It would be useful to use the timer when I am cooking on my stove. Overall, I am happy with the appliance and looks modern, slick, and looks well built. The price is ok at it replace my over the stove microwave.

Oven portion works well, slow close is nice. I have read others say that when you remove the food you should leave the door open a little but to allow the moisture to air out. I do notice when I open the door on most food there is a lot of steam that escapes. I have started leaving the door open while I finish preparing my meal. I don't know if this is needed but less moisture the better I would imagine.

The soft close door was my husband’s favorite part. Unfortunately however, the soft close feature wore out in the first several months and now it’s just an annoying door that doesn’t want to latch or open very easily. Also, make sure you keep the inside of your microwave immaculate because if anything at all spatters onto that heating element on top and you turn the convection oven on, you’re going to smoke yourself out.

For the price, I expected a little more! I am trying to see if I can skip the preheat for oven (for a quick warm up). If this is not possible, it is negative for this oven. The airfryer seems to go back to preheat everytime the oven door is opened to check the food!
