Did not work. Had to be returned. Wouldn't do anything it was supposed to do unfortunately. It went back and I purchased the Breville Joule Smart Oven Pro which in my opinion is far better anyway and now I am glad this didn't work out.

The Breville Combi Wave™ is a pretty amazing product. From the overall build quality to the three phases of functionality, and everything in-between, this counter top appliance does it all. We thoroughly ran this oven through it's paces across all three operation modes and it performed flawlessly. The air fryer cook mode is the best we've ever experienced, with consistently uniform results on all the typical finger foods you can think of. As a straight microwave oven, it also cooks evenly - leaving no cold spots. Amazing. And lastly as a convection oven, again the Combi Wave™ performs brilliantly. We especially enjoyed the results with a layered Lasagna dish. The huge info screen and button layout makes using this combination oven a breeze. It even tells you when to use specific 'racks' depending on the mode with a graphical depiction. The soft-touch door is even better than it sounds. Simply amazing. This is certainly an expensive item but when you consider all of it's capabilities, the removal of multi-appliance clutter in your kitchen and the exceptional Breville build quality ... it's totally worth it. I can only imagine a whole lot of folks not using their full-sized oven beyond the occasional holiday and more elaborate baked goods endeavors after purchasing one of these marvels of engineering. If you're thinking about purchasing a standard, counter top microwave oven, you should give serious thought to picking up the Combi Wave™ and calling it done. Highly recommended.

I don’t call it just a microwave—I call it a cooking machine! I think I use it more for other things that just microwaving. Well, besides the pretty design (it really looks good on my counter), basic microwaving is easy. It has so many settings—the good thing is, the controls are not-too-difficult to figure out. I know I know a good deal about tech, so I consider me above the curve in navigating appliances and gadgets. My test was for my lady though; I guessed that it will take her a bit of time to understand the settings—such as how to defrost, or to adjust power settings. She did not have any issues at all. She was more excited to play around with it because the screen was informative. I won’t even mention anything about microwaving—it’s a basic function and I felt confident in its capabilities. I airfryed a fish (yes a fish) and it came out great at 20minutes without drying it up the inside. And frozen French fries. Cooking broccoli on it was a breeze too! So my stove has been neglected for a while. With busy work weeks, this Breville is our go-to for food preparation. It lessens our need for counter space given the multiple functions, and at the same time, makes our counter space look pretty too. Even our visitors liked it. It’s great to have something so versatile and easy-to-use at the same time. I recommend!

not a good quality brand, stop working after 3 months

Was great until it started to show E05 that's an electrical problem regulating current.

Looking for a do it all device in the kitchen? This is it! Microwave, air fryer, grill!!!!, and convection oven! WOW! I've not had a chance to try the convection oven or grill features of this but the air fryer is fantastic! It's not as big as my current microwave on the inside, but it's overall footprint is smaller. This one isn't made to go into an overhead built in microwave cabinet. It requires a LOT of clearance, eight inches top and sides. It does get hot on the top and left side during the air fryer mode. I love the dials for time and power as well as the extra option buttons built into the door. Oh yeah, the door! It closes so gently! It is closed properly but it closed so gently, it makes you think that it may not have closed well. AND SO QUIET! My husband didn't think it was working it was so quiet! It does a great job with anything I threw at it. I can't wait to explore its other options! I'm so glad I have this in my kitchen!

We've enjoyed this combination microwave/convection oven. Works well. Nice, slow-close door. It does take a while for the convection oven to heat up, but all ovens do. It seems a little slower at defrost than my previous LG microwave, but love the flexibility of this! Would purchase again!

BESTBUY breville microwave review tech insider I give it a full 5 stars but bear in mind that the interior is 1.1 cubic feet which is a decent size for medium size meal or great for small to medium size meals. Larger meals will mean cooking meals in smaller portions. Also use of some of the included utensils (crisper pan and the Trivet) reduce cooking capacity significantly but theses overall are minor quibbles. The microwave is very powerful with its output ranging from about 1100 to 1400 depending on which cooking option(s) you use. I love the stainless steel look along with the controls and the never before seen child lock! The function buttons are microwave, air fry, from frozen, oven, fast combi and food menu. Pressing them leads you to various options which help you set up your meals, cook times, temperatures, etc... You also can turn on or off the turntable, another unique feature along with adding extra 30 seconds which I think is standard on most reheating devices in this category. So it is a great microwave but the cost is pretty steep if that is all your going to use it for. The real stars are the crisper, air fryer and oven. It is a great device that can cook family size meals as long as you take the time and patience to become familiar with your control menus and use the steps the menus list to begin your meal cooking. Foods come out succulent and crispy, not your normal microwave. Great device but does need microwave size space on your counter top so you might need to remove your old microwave to use this, which I did as it has so so many more features and abilities.

I would have expected the Breville Combi Wave Microwave to be, well the same as all others, but it's so much more; I was pleasantly surprised. The part you notice first is the stainless steel, which seems sturdy, and I like the fact that it matches all our other kitchen appliances. This microwave can not only reheat and cook but also defrost and do it, so all the food comes out the same. I think the star of Breville is the Fast Combi feature and it lets you Air fry and its also a Convection oven, still even better you can get food crispy if you want, I can even get crispy fries in a microwave. The unit comes with preset buttons like smart cook or smart defrost, and it has presets for the foods you may cook a lot, like popcorn, pizza, and others. You may notice it is much quieter them other microwaves we have used. Also, it not tiny, it comes with a 12+ inch turntable and a total of 1.1 cubic ft. of space inside. We very much like this microwave and believe you will also.

Expensive and only lasted 3 years. Takes longer to heat food then our older microwave which was not a 3 in 1. Steamed veggies was fine. Hard to clean after air frying. Only a few items were good to air fry in this combi wave: chicken fingers and french fries. All other foods air fried just looked as if you microwaved them. I expected better quality product from Breville and it did not live up to expectation. Next time will stick with the Panasonic or Sharp microwaves.

So far I'm enjoying this combo microwave. It does a good job of heating the food evenly. What makes this even better is that is has a convection oven and air fryer feature. I was able to cook french fries in air fryer mode. They came out pretty good, but they weren't as crispy compared to when I cooked them in my air fryer in the basket. The air seems to circulate better in the basket types, in comparison to the skillet pan which comes with this unit. The presets are easy to read and follow when using the onscreen directions on the device screen. I truly love the soft close feature on the door. You don't have to worry about slamming the door with this unit. If you try to slam the door, it will stop a few inches from the closed position, and it will close gently and softly by itself. Overall an awesome microwave oven.

I love this Breville 3 in one Oven. .i just did not like the delivery process. The delivery was to an apartment building, they left this huge heavy box in the lobby. I’m 74 years old I had to pay someone to bring it upstairs to my apartment. Shame shame Shame on you Best Buy. You should do better than that. Will never order anything heavy from you again.

We’ve had this microwave for well over a year now and it’s the best. We hadn’t had a microwave in nearly two decades and decided to get one to make life a little easier during a busier time in our lives. I love all the features, especially the air fry option. It’s great for a variety of foods and ways to cook them. We’re remodeling our house and is read of getting a built in microwave, we’re keeping this one and making a custom cabinet for it because we love it so much.

Bought this as replacement for microwave. Loved the idea of microwave, air fryer, and oven all in one to save countertop space. While the grill/oven and microwave features function well, the air fry function is a complete waste. Regret paying $450. Preset cooking functions are not precise enough either. For example, when entering the weight of an item, rather than going by 10ths of a pound (1.1, 1.2, etc.), it only goes by half-pound. A solid disappointment.

Still working great over four years later! Very happy and it does exactly what we wanted. The only caveat is the air fryer isn't quite as "fry-ey" as our stand alone air fryer was, but it works well enough for what we need.

This microwave does it all, it has so many features that you will need to keep the manual handy for a little while until you learn all the features included with it. I was thoroughly impressed with the Breville Combi Wave and would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a microwave that can do it all. I used this to cook any number of items that I would normally cook in the microwave and a bunch that I never would have thought to cook within the microwave and the Breville Comi Wave did an amazing job with everything.

Very good microwave. I had used for three years, never broken down. Multiple functions, I can almost cook everything in it. Its worth the value.

First off, I have to agree with another reviewer that the manual leaves a lot to be desired. After seemingly unending pages of warnings, it was difficult to ascertain in which situations using metal inside the unit would be safe. When using the Combi function, can one use metal? Probably not b/c the microwave would be in use, but it would be nice for the manual to spell out in detail when metal can and cannot be used - a glaring omission in my opinion. Otherwise, this is a nice combination unit; however, as mentioned, there are trade-offs. For us, the biggest is not being able to microwave and bake/cook something simultaneously. My wife is used to having something cooking in the microwave while at the same time cooking something else in our small convection/toaster oven. If we get rid of those individual units in place of this 3 in 1, then that would no longer be possible. Another thing I wish would be possible would be for the backlight on the display to always be on. Believe it or not, the microwave is the main clock in our kitchen, but this unit doesn't keep the backlight on at all times, so one cannot simply glance at the microwave from across the kitchen to see the time. If there is a way to keep the light on on the display, please let me know. Another thing, we couldn't find cleaning instructions for the crisper pan - is it dishwasher safe? Another reason we consider the manual lacking.
