I love it, it made me realize the coffee that I had been drinking was not that good coffee that this makes is absolutely excellent robust and lots of flavor

It works very well as expected. Grinds and brews with nice customization on grind size and brew strength. Rinse the basket and basket shoot holder after each use and dry. Not sure why others reported difficulty. Just follow the directions, makes a great cup every time with ease. Only negatives: 1. needs the carafe/cup preheated with hot water if you prefer your coffee on the hotter side, and 2. The carafe design leaves a little coffee in the pot. Otherwise, probably one of the best grind and brews available.

This machine makes a magnificent cup of coffee. Definitely a learning curve on finding the right bean and strength. For me, i use 100% Kona beans and strongest setting. I only have make single cups and have not made a carafe yet. That single cup is like GOLD in the morning - simply an AWESOME cup of coffee. Very happy with this puchase

One month in and we are completely stratified with the coffee maker. Makes a consistent pot of coffee. We also enjoy the ability to enhance the coffee strength from time to time and control the about of brewed coffee. We have cleaned the unit and kept the coffee shoot clear. So far we are very happy with our purchase.

The Good: Nice burr grinder, nice display and options to make a single cup through a pot. The Bad: everything else. 1. Coffee maker doesn’t fit under standard sizes cupboards. There is a protruding knob that makes it too tall. 2. Thermal Carafe opening is so small no reasonably sized hand can fit in it to clean. It also has a weird lip that makes it very hard to empty. 3. Pouring the coffee out of the carafe is very very slow. Like almost trickle slow. 4. Coffee in carafe immediately after brewing is warm, not hot. The instructions in the book say to preheat the carafe with warm water. Newsflash: anyone who wants to use the auto timer, so they don’t have to get up to make coffee in the morning cannot preheat the carafe. Is this defeats the purpose of the auto timer. 5. There is no heating element to keep the coffee hot. The thermal carafe is supposed to keep it hot. Refer to point #4. 6. The brew basket leaks drops across your floor when you remove it to empty and clean it. Every time. It also has a weird chute piece that holds debris so you have to make sure you don’t miss it when cleaning it. I love Breville typically, but they really have done a poor job with this coffee maker. A redesign is needed. I returned mine and I’m going back to the Cuisinart burr Grinder and coffee maker.

Breville - the Grind Control 12-Cup Coffee Maker is a good looking machine. I always want an Integrated Grinder coffee maker and this one is beautiful. I have this machine for 2 months now. I have a little problem with grinder where it seems to pull the bean in on one side only which I'm going to bring it in for exchange. Great machine regardless.

Easy to use, customizing the brew is awesome. Cleaning is simple

I have been looking for a coffee maker that was capable of making from 1 cup to 1 pot. I also wanted an insulated carafe and a grinder. This checks all the boxes and makes great coffee. I was able to tweak the settings and my coffee is the same every time, not too strong, not too weak.

I’ve now received two defective machines and still have not been able to brew a decent cup of coffee since purchasing the original unit from Best Buy in January. Its May. I completed extensive troubleshooting with Breville support, including a 30+ minute live video session where we brewed multiple cups at different grind and strength settings, recalibrated the machine, and tested with several types of fresh beans from independent coffee shops. Every result was still watery, weak, and poor tasting. During the troubleshooting call, even the support representative acknowledged that the machine did not sound normal while brewing. Despite all of this, the only resolution offered was sending A BAG OF COFFEE BEANS, even after explaining that I had already tested multiple fresh beans and the issue is clearly with the machine itself, not the beans. Very disappointing experience both with the product quality and the inability to stand behind it after two defective units.

Great tasting coffee. Easy to use. Not so easy to clean. And as far as I know, no way to customize the amount of grinds produced per preset water setting.

Very satisfied with Breville coffee maker and features. Excellent pricing through Best Buy. Will shop for other small appliances here.
