A friend of mine invited to have lunch and made an amazingly cooked salmon,grilled veggies and rice, for desert she made some artisan toast with fig and tea preserves; everything in this tiny oven and she hardly made any mess. I decided to go for the bigger version because we are a family of six and I do use the oven quite a lot. It is super versatile, I've already made grilled cheese sandwiches, tacos, tortas, pizza, toast, quesadillas, all kinds of fish, used it for baking muffins, cookies and biscuits; it also has a super cool reheat setting and this is great because it may take longer than a microwave but the final result is superior, it crisps and melts and it's never soggy

It seemed a little crazy to spend so much on a toaster. But it is so much more than that. The 'auto eject' feature where the door pulls out the grate making it easier to remove items is a great idea. Various settings for anything you may want to do. It took a few times to get used to the convection setting as it was so much faster than instructions on the item. Watch out... it does get REALLY hot. A trivet or something on top of the oven is a must.

Our Cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer with manual dials was dying after 5 years of everyday use. So, I decided to upgrade to this unit. So glad I did! This Breville oven does almost everything so much better than the Cuisinart ever did. Although, the most basic feature, Toast, seems lacking. For the toasting of slices of bread, you have to turn it up to almost dark. But, I don't make toast all the time, so that particular setting can be forgiven. So far, I'm very impressed. I hope this one lasts!

Nearly daily use for approx 8 months. Going strong. Generally even heating with expected hot spots near elements so need to adjust the racks accordingly. The only complaints I have are minor enough they don’t change my 5 star rating. The magnetic strip that helps pull out the rack when opening the door is small and often not strong enough to pull the rack out as far as I’d like (or at all sometimes) and the glass on the front concerns me. I’ve read other reviews of it shattering and I could understand it happening, from food/liquid dropping down (cold liquid on hot glass) or a utensil getting dropped on it. Just concerned it isn’t tempered or thick enough. But mine hasn’t broken (yet) and got the protection plan just in case. And last complaint would be the questionable “airfry”rack which is essentially expanded metal and allows all the crumbs/drippings to come down on the heating elements and crumb tray to burn. But if you’ve got any common sense and are careful this unit can work beautifully for years.

I went through 3 other toaster ovens within a month until I decided to splurge on the Breville Smart Oven Air. This stylish appliance has all the features I wanted and much more. We use it every day for toast, but also have made air fries and many other incredible foods. From toast to roast this oven does a great job of making meals easy to do. There is only one thing that could be better and that is the preheating speed. It seems to take longer than a normal oven. This does not bother me because the food will cook faster anyway. I was wanting to bake a dessert and the instructions said it would take 45 minutes. I needed to leave in 30 minutes so I put it on super convection. It cooked in 15 minutes and came out perfectly. Although, I think that this toaster plus was quite expensive, I would buy it again if needed. I also would recommend purchasing the bamboo cutting/cutting board. I never liked when people put things on top of the toaster while it was cooking, but boys will be boys and this accessory allows for placing items on the board without touching the toaster oven top.

Had the Breville Full sized unit for about 10 years and attempted to self repair, but was not the internal fuse/heat limiter so I junked it and bought this model from Best Buy. The main reason I bought tis model was for the Air Fry function. I have an excellent Ninja flip up air fryer (the newer model of this is available at Best Buy). I have used this pretty extensively and cooks fish really well. I have tried several recipe books for air fryers and many on line recipes and most all have disappointed. I found that trial and error on each food type has turned me into a near expert for my favorite foods. The new Breville Air Fry function works differently than the Ninja. It heats slower to get to temp, likely because the Breville is gigantic. The Breville also has a top air fry temp of 480. I have found That The Breville cooks as well for Frozen French Fries, but the cook times are different are different. Breville does very well with fries which have snow (frozen water) attached to them. These tend toward soggy on the Ninja. The good results for Breville are likely due to the super convection. The other Breville functions work exactly like the old Breville except that the controls seem smoother, the high speed convection is better and the unit is about 25% better. The downside is that this takes 40% more counter space.

We have been using this for a couple of months now. It has replaced a toaster oven and a toaster in our kitchen. It really excels as a toaster working perfectly for bread, bagels, and everything else. We have used it a few times as an air fryer and it does very well with that as well. It is well designed with shelves that can easily be reconfigured, that pop out when you open the oven, and the crumb catching tray is a nice feature as well. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. Finally it is a handsome machine that looks nice on our kitchen counter. With a $100 discount comma I believe it was a really good value.

Perfect for everything from a bagel to making some crème brûlée. Large enough for me to throw a pizza in without taking too much counter space. Several different settings to fit my needs. I Love i!

Perfect size to use instead of the double oven. having the air fryer opens up a whole new world of cooking for us, better than the stand alone drawer air fryer.

We have had several toaster ovens during the past two years. I won't mention the brands, but they were basically junk. I decided to get serious and go with a higher budget after I could not stand my last toaster oven for one more day. I checked the reviews and I am so happy with the Breville Smart Pro. It performs exactly as advertised. No more burned toast and bagels. I LOVE the interior light and the convection feature. It is great to be able to digitally set the timer, temperature and function. The size is perfect for my counter... it does not overwhelm. I highly recommend this oven. Spending more is worth it in the end. You get what you pay for.

I purchased this toaster oven about a month ago and it has been really great for toast and baking. Mine does not have the rotisserie, but it does have convection. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Love this oven from Breville this is an additional one I purchased for my other home im proud to say the first one I purchased is still going strong after manybyears of hard use. You can do just about everything in this thing from broiling to baking, air frying convection work toasting and pizza its got plenty of room inside for all of you needs

Great extra for my kitchen. I looked at many toaster ovens and arrived at this one after looking at all the specs and comparing. After one month, my experience says this was a good choice. It does everything I wanted and more. There are plenty of baking-toasting-broiling options and the pre-selections for various types of food make it super easy. There are other sizes but this one was the right one for me. Not to big, not too small.
