Even though they look the same, the electronics don't work well in the cheaper one, so they're using different internals. I had the more expensive one and it worked perfectly, but I've gone through a couple of the cheaper ones, and the buttons and knobs often don't register clicks and turns. Even brand new the electronics don't work well in the cheap version, they need to fix this.

Excellent all in one alternative

Settings are very straightforward. Quality is excellent and customer service is without peer. I just sent my 12-year-old oven back to the company for repair. It was replaced with a like-new oven that was forwarded to my grandson for minimum cost.

Does the trick but overpriced

It’s difficult to clean, which is my major issue with it and while Breville is known for making pretty solid good quality products overall, this one has some room for improvement.
