    Best Oven Ever

The ease is what this really brings to your kitchen. Due to it's size the preheat time is very low. Letting you get started and cook at an even temperature in less time. It's multi-cooking features giving you a huge breadth of options, allows for crispier, tastier meals. If you have not given the Breville name a try... take a look at their options. Very innovative for a medium price.

This is one of the few appliances we feel the need to replace immediately. It handles a great deal of our baking without the time needed to preheat a full sized oven. Our first Breville finally gave out after about a decade and we are very happy with the new one.

I had to upgrade my old Breville so I got another Breville if that tells you anything. These things are stylish and flat out perform even full size ovens. They let you do technical cooking by just spinning to one of the presets, the rest is automated. The hidden gem here is an air fryer that actual works with a fuller size portion. The extra elements and high speed fans will make the most amazing crunchy food. French fries in the Breville air fry and perfect. Crispy tots become crunchy but flakey, it is un real. Crab Cakes come out like you fried them. The larger size of the new model is perfect for roasts or full size dishes. The question marks, its expensive, its not going on sale, its the same price everywhere but my family uses this multiple times a day so its a great investment into a quality product. Also the dehydrate function while nice is a 10 hr process and you only get the one tray so you will need to buy more shelves if you want pursue that option.

This is what I have done successfully so far: made a batch of brownies in an 8x8 metal pan; fried eggs in a non-stick loaf pan; roasted chicken thighs and onions on the included roasting pan, finished by broiler browning; and of course, toasted bread and bagels and English muffins. Features I like: (1) The convection fan can be turned off for any setting. (2) Although the display is digital, you use dials for selecting. This is much easier than having to hold the buttons down until the right temp or time is reached. (3) You can add more time or change the temperature at any time during the process. (4) The interior light is great and turns itself off after a while if I forget to do it. What I Don't like: There is no actual "off" button. As it is, when the cooking process is done, it shuts off, but the LCD screen light stays on for a while. This was more than I expected to pay but Cook's Illustrated picked this as one of the best, so I took a chance. Also, the Best Buy price was the lowest when I bought it. Well worth every penny.

Quality Oven, But Air Fryer Falls Short

I've gotta say, this oven/air fryer combo is well-made and seems like it'll last. The large capacity is great for big meals, and the cooking process is super quick. However, we were really hoping to get that perfect crispy finish with the air frying function - unfortunately, it just doesn't deliver. If you're looking for a dedicated air fryer, this might be worth considering, but if you want a combo unit that's going to knock out both oven and air fryer tasks, I think there are better options out there. We'll be returning this one since we can only fit one or the other in our kitchen.

I have a small kitchen in a condo so I wasn't sure about getting this new thing to take up space. But I heard several people in my community say they had one and barely used their stove oven. So I took their advice and bought the one I thought I wanted. I really am glad I ordered the convection oven as it browns well. I like the control on toasting bread and other foods. I love roasted veggies and it is great for 1 or 2 people. My sweet potato was luscious with a soft interior and crispy exterior. I've only had it a short time so I hope it's quality and longevity is as good as it is a toaster and baker!

I have used many OTGs but the Breville OTG is the best of the lot. Consistent and accurate heating, strong build quality. This is my 3rd breville purchase after a juicer and a panini maker.I have made pizzas, toasts, used fro reheating and all results were perfect.

I’m so happy with my Breville Air Fryer/Oven! It cooks everything perfectly—crispy fries, juicy chicken, and evenly baked goods. The controls are easy to use, it heats up fast, and cleanup is simple. Looks great on my counter, too. Highly recommend!

Nice little oven, which also makes toast

To call this thing a Toaster Oven would be a serious understatement. Even though we purchased it to replace our 20 year old toaster oven, this thing is really a little oven, which also makes excellent toast. The Toast comes out perfectly toasted. The countdown timer is really helpful in knowing when the food will be done. The darkness control for the toast seems really accurate and easy to adjust. We have used it to make frozen pizza, which came out great. I have broiled the cheese on a few open face sandwiches. I only have 2 minor irritations with the unit. First, I wish that there was a way to turn the display all the way off, since it seems like a waste of electricity to keep the panel activated at all times. Also, the countdown time does not start until the oven reaches cooking temperature, so the food will start cooking early if you put it in before the oven is at temp, throwing off the countdown timer. Other than this, this little oven has been perfect.

Great oven; not so great roasting/drip pans.

I bought the Breville Smart Oven Pro Convection about two months ago and so far it's doing everything it's supposed to do, and doing it well. Whether it continues to perform to my expectations after the warranty runs out remains to be seen, but so far so good. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the roasting and drip pans are very difficult to keep clean. Despite the fact that I washed them after every use and followed the instructions for doing so, any grease that comes in contact with them stubbornly resists all efforts to remove it completely. After using several commercial dish-washing liquids with a non-abrasive sponge over several weeks, I finally threw in the towel and used a "copper" scouring pad (who knows if it actually is copper) and was able to remove the built on grease. Of course the pans were slightly scratched in the process, but given the choice of a filthy pan or a scratched pan, I went with the latter. Since then, I've stopped using the pans completely and instead use my good 'ol reliable Pyrex. That said, the oven itself gets 5 stars, the pans, 1.

This serves multiple purposes for us, our oven went out and we are soon starting a kitchen renovation. Until the kitchen reno starts its fulfilling our needs for an oven and toaster in the kitchen and while the reno is ongoing will use in our makeshift kitchen to keep the family fed. Works just as advertised for toasting, baking, broiling, etc.

We have had this for about a month and it's what we expected. It has nice capacity. Out will fit 6 bagel halves or a 13 inch pizza. It cooks flawlessly so far. Nice looking and the tech is above average.

I bought this toaster oven for my wife for Christmas. We've only had it a short time, but it appears quite nice. We've done frozen pizza (a given), air fried steak fries, and also air fried egg rolls & rangoon; all turned out pretty good. We were primarily interested in the extra air frying and dehydration modes, so we're 50% of the way to meeting our needs While expensive, it will be worth it if it can replace a toaster oven, air fryer, and dehydrator. I have had issues with Best Buy on this purchase. I ordered the oven online for shipment directly to our home. The oven had a significant dent upon opening it on Christmas morning. I called Best Buy to replace the unit, but they don't have any (possibly for months). I asked for a discount if I was willing to keep it; they offered $20, which I found insulting on a $400 item. They said I could return it, which would leave my wife without a Christmas present. I ultimately kept the oven, but purchased a $70 replacement warranty as I was worried about internal damage from the dent-causing impact. Net result, I paid $450 for a dented oven instead of the $400 I'd planned for a new undented oven.
