Fantastic Oven for Just about Anything

I purchased this product to replace an older convection toaster oven that went bad. First off, convection is the way to go. It cooks food more evenly than a conventional oven and is fantastic for any type of bread, cake, or pastry. I have tried several of the settings that come on the oven. The toast setting does a fantastic job and can easily handle the 6 pieces of toast it claims. The darkness setting is the most accurate that I have seen on any device. This oven makes better toast than most toasters out there. The Pizza setting works well too. You essentially turn the dial to select the temperature and size of the pizza and it automatically selects the time for you. It is pretty accurate, but the pizza that I made in it was slightly overdone for my tastes. This could have been due to the brand of the pizza though so I can't really ding the product for that. The oven easily accommodates a 12" pizza. I have also made cookies in this oven using the cookie setting. It does a wonderful job and the cooking time is very accurate. I tried making the standard cookies you buy at the store and break apart. They came out a nice golden brown and were soft as can be. I baked a cake with this oven as well. It was just one of the small, individual size cakes that you can purchase at the store, but it is the same process as larger cakes. The cake came out perfect that the recommended cook time. It was nice and golden brown and it was very fluffy. One of the best cakes I have had. Lastly, I have made several other items in this oven. I have made everything from seafood, chicken, bread, and dinner items to simple things such as corn dogs, chicken nuggets, and french fries. This oven handles them all with no problem. Overall, this is a fantastic product that is a great addition to any home. I wish I would have had this back when I was living in an apartment. I was a little concerned with the price at first, but once I started using it, it has proven to be well worth every penny. We use ours more than our regular oven. It cooks everything that we can throw at it (save the larger items that won't fit). Since it uses 5 individual heating elements, it heats up evenly and quickly. The oven also does not start the timer until it is preheated, so you can just stick in your food and come back later. It also uses much less electricity than a standard oven and if you use your oven often, it is pretty noticeable. The oven also comes with come good non-stick pans. They are not the best ones on the market but for an included bonus, they are nice.

Most used appliance I’ve even owned with one flaw

I have owned this for three years. My regular oven broke and I live alone and I had been using my Cuisinart convection toaster oven for over 16 years. There was nothing wrong with my cuisinart oven, but I wanted something bigger and this was the largest model on the market so I went for it. I have no regrets, it is a beast, I use it for everything. I roast meats and vegetables, bake cakes and cookies and breads, air fry using the convection setting...you name it this can do it. I can use a 10x15 pan in here, the capacity is perfect for just about anything. I’ve baked Homemade Detroit style pizza among other things you could not normally use a toaster oven for. This really is a countertop oven but I make toast in it daily too, The results are always consistent and it has never failed me. Until now. After some online research I have found that this oven has a flaw that many people have encountered. The door will eventually become stuck and it will be unable to close and the timer may stop working. Many others have said that eventually the convection fan will stop working as well but the oven itself is still functional. The door on my oven has become temperamental. A few times it has become stuck and will not close. I have had to play around with it to get it to close fully. There are several videos on YouTube showing how to fix the issue. Most involve removing the covering of the oven and bending a small metal switch to align it properly. This seems to fix the door closing and the timer issue. One person simply bent the metal piece connecting the door to the oven From the outside and that worked too. There is also a plastic gasket that will eventually wear out as well. My point in telling you this is not to dissuade you from buying this great appliance, but to warn you that despite the hefty price tag this will not be something you will be using 30 years from now. What happened to the days of handing down well made appliances to family members? Is this a case of planned obsolescence? I don’t regret this purchase at all, there is nothing comparable to it out there especially capacity wise, but it is disappointing to be encountering issues with it only 3 years in and know I am not the only one having this specific issue. I will still recommend with slight reservation it as it is a great machine but It is not made for longevity.

    Simply The Best...

I've purchased 2 of these in the past year. One for my daughter and now one for myself. I haven't used every function yet, but so far it does not disappoint. I was anxious to give the airfry a try and my first attempt was delicious. Hard to believe it wasn't fried in oil. It bakes well and very even. I love the programmed times, but also super easy to change the temp or cook time, if you wish. My regular oven will collect dust now that I have this. You literally can do anything you want in this oven with great results. I did order another airfry basket with a sheet pan underneath. One of those copper ones you see advertised. You can easily use the airfry basket with this one, but you'll want to put a pan underneath to catch drippings otherwise your beauty will need some cleaning attention. I was on the fence about this one for awhile and had considered the Cuisinart airfry, but this won out and even though it's twice the money, it is money well spent. I will use this until I can't any longer. Hope this helps for someone making a decision about which oven to buy. Enjoy!

This is my first Breville convection oven, previously owning a different brand. I've had this one for a few days now and I love it. It's spacious, and large enough for a decent size pizza. I can't comment on the length of time I will be able to use this but I bought the 2yr warranty just in case.

    Great Oven

I have always wanted a Breville Oven ever since both my sisters each had one, but the price was always more than I wanted to spend. I purchased this oven when it was $50 off and could not be happier. We used to never use our old Oester oven because it was small and the heating elements would not cook items evenly. The Breville is nice, big, but not too big and cooks foods quick and evenly. Ever since we purchased this, we use it more than we use our $1700 gas stove. $270 might sound like a lot to spend on a small countertop oven, but we feel like we are getting out moneys' worth with the daily use we get out of it.

I've had it for 3 weeks and love it. I like the large area when air frying directions recommend a single layer. Now I can cook my popcorn shrimp and French fries at the same time. The toast and bagel functions work well, but I feel it takes longer and is overkill for 2 slices. I have used the Proof and Bake functions when making bread and it came out well the one time I tried it. I often use parchment paper over the air fryer mesh and a brush when I do want to clean it.

Best ever table top oven that I have owned !

This really is the best portable convection oven that I owned. It is multi purpose because you can make toast, pizzas, bagels, bake or grill chicken, bake fish, cook french fries, heat up other appetizers like dumplings. It is very easy to use, it has several knobs which let you choose the settings, you can turn up the temperature, adjust the time. When the timer ends, it beeps to let you know. This is very versatile and you can pretty much cook anything you like in it.

I purchased two of Beautiful toasters oven one is in the garage when I like to enjoy Fish & Chips but I don't want the house smell like it all day. Yes it's a lot of money but is the first toaster oven able to cook blueberry muffins not have come out charcoal on the outside raw in the inside. It Is like having premium mini convection oven on the countertop. The convection fan is not just for show it really blows hot air everywhere and makes the world of difference.

Very satisfied with the device, so far...

This is a recent purchase, so can't speak to length of service. It came with good quality racks and pans. I love the knob features, (dislike touch controls). This size oven has become nearly impossible to find now, so were happy to find this even though it cost nearly 4 times what we paid for such ovens in the past. That said, it does seem to be of higher quality than our previous ovens. The pizza I've baked in it shows that the oven does have a hot spot toward the rear wall. I supposed I could just turn the item while cooking to avoid having uneven crust. This issue is minuscule and has little effect on the results, so still very satisfied. Works great and performs as expected.

I have been using the prior model for 5 years almost daily and just now starting to have issues with the controls not responding. Absolutely pleased with the performance for cooking just about anything a larger oven will cook just in smaller portions. Great for 1-2 people.

    Excellent Convection Oven

Simple yet provides for a lot of features. The Breville convection oven provides very even cooking and with many many settings, it takes the guesswork out of deciding how long and what temp to cook something. I would prefer if it came with a second rack to maximize the space. Seems like you can purchase this directly from Breville, but its often out of stock.

Love it! It’s a great size to supplement your kitchen oven space. Yes, it’s pricey, but I was fortunate to have purchased it while on sale. Be aware that the photos online show it with multiple baskets. However, it only comes with one. Regardless, highly recommended.

Oven is a step up from my older Cuisinart which was a real workhorse for me. It has many more features and seems to cook more evenly. I’m still familiarizing myself with its operation in terms of temperature settings and cooking times. I’ve only owned the oven for a few weeks but so far very impressed. My former Cuisinart lasted about 15 yrs without any problems but It was time to upgrade, very satisfied so far. Would highly recommend.
