This is a great oven. For all the features it has, I think the footprint of it really is reasonable. Yes, it's bigger than most air fryers I think, but it also does far more than most. While I haven't tested all of the features to their fullest extent yet, I've had no issues at all with it. Everything gets heated through fine. Things that need toasted get toasted etc. It does pizzas very well (both homemade and frozen). I like that there's a Frozen option so it takes some guesswork out of temperature and timing. The machine feels as luxurious as it should for this price-point - my only complaint is that it doesn't close very softly so be mindful that you aren't accidentally slamming the door shut. I've seen a couple complaints about the timer starting as soon as the preheat is done, but honestly I just put the food in straight away anyway because the preheat doesn't take very long. I don't find the machine to be particularly loud and honestly anything with a convection fan is going to kick up some noise regardless. To the people complaining about how loud it is - THERE IS A VOLUME SETTING. You can see it on the bottom right corner of the front of the machine in the product photos. Press and hold the fahrenheit/celsius button and you can choose between high, low, and mute. The Low setting is perfect for me personally. TLDR great oven that, for me, is replacing multiple other devices (toaster, air fryer, microwave, and even my apartment's crappy paleolithic-aged oven), and now my small kitchen has much more space. If you can splurge, do so!

I bought this to replace a still-working, but on its way out smaller GE machine after I moved. I liked that one, and cooking for 1 I use it regularly for smaller meals over a standard oven. I really like the features of this one, even if I dont expect to use all of them. I am starting to use the air fry feature as well as reheat and they work fine, gives me new options.

we just got this to replace a basic toaster oven that was starting to heat inconsistently. After doing a bit of research, I found that every one of the different toaster ovens from Breville were extremely highly rated. The more I looked, the list of other choices got smaller and smaller - until the only real choice was between the 845 or the 900. A few of the differences to the 900 are significant, but for about $125 more and it would of taken a few weeks to get it, made getting the 845 an easier choice. In the little we used it so far, its done everything excellent and its very easy to use. Also, its smaller than I expected - the oven compartment is larger than our old toaster oven, yet the overall dimensions are slightly smaller.

Like most others reviewing this, I love it. It's well built & works as it should. This isn't a cheapo toaster oven - I've replaced my full size oven with this for most baking needs. Only two in our household.

This is my second Breville Toaster Oven. This is a sweet upgrade from our first which served ten-plus years and continues to serve as a hand-me-down for my daughter. New Breville is feature laden and continually in use.

Easy access through large opening door. Easy to operate controls. Rapid warm up and even cooking temperature.

TL;DR: Use this more than my oven now. EXPECTATIONS: * Cooked frozen leftover pizza, comes out toasty like it was fresh. * Baked a lasagna in here tastes the same as if baked in oven but preheat was a bit faster. * Made toasted bread products and toasted up store bought croissants and works great, nice and flaky outside soft and moist inside. NOT TRIED / CONS: * Didn't see a self clean option (makes sense), but that stops me from trying to cook bacon and similar messy foods in it. * Would have liked the red option that's available in lower models. * Making grilled cheese is still easier on a stove top, I might need to use higher temperature settings though. NOTE: * I owned an older model of this before (over 5 years ago). Gave that to a friend when I moved and she loves it...running strong. Added features to the newer model just make it that much nicer. * Still use my oven to cook large or mass quantity items (e.g. 2 dozen cookies at a time). * Drip tray is a bit different, but seems to work well. Not sure the change was necessary but so far hasn't been an issue.

I love my little toaster oven! Summer when it was too hot to cook we took it outside and so did not heat up the house, brilliant! Cooks wonderfully, great capacity and unlike my oven it’s easy to clean and performs wonderfully. Best toaster ever!

Customer service was great, we received our first one with a dent on the top, it was immediately replaced. Have only used it a few times, but so far it's very efficient and great size for roasting. Only negative is that it gets very hot during convection cooking, the whole way around, so need to think carefully about placement.

After doing research on all toaster ovens out there I bought this one, even though it was pretty much the most expensive one around. I gotta say it is worth every penny! So far I've used the bake, broil, air fry, and dehydrate functions and they all work spectacularly. The super convection mode seems to cut the cook time in half of what the regular convection time would be. The oven preheats very quickly, is extremely large inside, and even has a light! There is nothing I would change about it. I also bought the correct size cutting Breville cutting board to put on top of it and that dissipates whatever heat comes off of the top while cooking and allows you to put stuff on top of the oven as well. Also a must have, in my opinion.

This Breville Smart Oven just ROCKS!! Too many tremendous features to list them all, so I'm just gonna hit the highlights and use one perfect example. The "smart" feature that focusses heat where it is needed most for any desired setting is no better evidenced than by using the bagel setting - it browns and crisps the top (inside cut) of your bagel (when placed cut side up, of course) while heating the bottom (outsides) of the bagel yet leaving that part soft and chewy. The magnet to draw out the tray (when put into one of two middle placement settings) makes it very easy to retrieve heated/cooked items without having to reach into the oven. The interior light can be controlled manually, but it also comes on automatically when the door is opened and when the timer reaches ten seconds remaining. The machine is very quiet even in super convection mode. The 13 preset dial settings can all be adjusted manually before pressing start and while the oven is in operation. The timer automatically pauses when the oven door is opened. In summary - you will NOT be disappointed in any capacity once you've put this oven on your countertop and put it to use!

Very satisfied with the way it works. It nicely fits in our kitchen space, not too big and not too small. Controls are easy to navigate. Works well making good pizza and toast.

This Breville Convection multi function Oven, Air Fryer, Toaster/Pizza oven is amazing! It have made all the things that you used to do in a traditional oven or Air Fryer so much easier and better that we should have bought years ago! Highly recommended. 5 Star Plus

This Brefille Smart oven is so much better than a normal oven. You can just use your oven for storing pans and switch to the wonderful Greville. Does everything your oven does but better, faster, and easy to view what's going in inside. Countdown timer automatically keeps you from incinerating your dinner. Just the best. Selected and paid for it on the local Best Buy section of their site, it was in stock and they were supposed to bring it outside. Oh, too bad, they couldn't bring it out, the "app" didn't work, so hubby had to go inside to get it. But not a big deal, just not the easy curbside they promised. Also hope you don't have a questions because Best Buy is too busy to answer their phones.

Love this oven from Breville this is an additional one I purchased for my other home im proud to say the first one I purchased is still going strong after manybyears of hard use. You can do just about everything in this thing from broiling to baking, air frying convection work toasting and pizza its got plenty of room inside for all of you needs
