Technician did a good job mounting the Sonos Arc.

Extras to Mount TV

Problems in the order

When I made my purchase I assumed that this would only be applied if I had a concrete wall. I don't have a concrete wall. I have wood paneling. Furthermore, Best Buy installed my present TV and thus thought it was a mistake and canceled this purchase. I went to the store and was told that this was required to ensure that the crew would install the tv. I thus had to rebuy the service. You need to make this service a great deal more clear. Another issue was that I was signed up for Webroot when I already had Webroot. This too was very confusing and took me a long time to adjust!

Poorly planned

Installers came in and started mounting only to discover original placement wouldn't work. Had to take it down and drill new holes to move the mount. Now I have additional holes in the wall they won't patch/fill.

Two botched delivery attempts.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The second delivery and installation appointment resulted in the guy saying he couldn’t mount it to our basement masonry wall, even though they were delighted to take my money with the complete assurance that this would do the trick. We were told that we needed to have a “frame” built first, which requires a contractor, and then we need to call to set up another appointment. More $$$, more delays. My husband did call the store manager and he removed the charge for this item, which was appropriate. I’m really really not impressed.

Terrible service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.terrible service, seems like they have no idea what they were doing. maid extra holes on my new tiles on fireplace. couldn't even put the bracket in the middle of the fireplace. had to take a sick day from work and supervise the whole process. worst they were trying to convince me that the Tv look good and best can be done, i paid $600 for this and didnt expect nothing less than perfect. also wear shoe protectors in costumer house, dont be on your phone, and dont tell me you are in rush

Geek squad installed Tv

Finally went to at to have scheduled since no communication was being returned. Overpaid for service. Techs were less than friendly. Didn’t check out; just left. Claimed on TV was broken but it worked fine prior to arrival. Terrible, terrible experience. Cross Best Buy off list for any service or purchase.

Waste

It was really the whole reason why I purchased the tech support. I could have mounted the TV with tapcon screws myself. Don’t sell products that your installers say can’t be done.

Not a good experience!

Said only one person had the necessary saw. Two weeks later second squad did it no problem. Some of employees definitely need re-training. Didn’t have brick, stone or concrete wall so I guess I got overcharged!!!!

This should not be an extra
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had ordered a TV mounting after buying a new TV, but was told that there is another significant extra charge because the surface they will mount in on for the regular charge is drywall. It seems odd that drilling with a slightly different drill should cost so much extra!

Not Needed, But Paid For

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have a shiplap wall that we hung the TV on, and the sales person insisted we needed this upgrade to a concrete or stone style installation. It only took a few screws. No extra drilling. I feel like we got gypped on this one. It was unnecessary.
