Everything about this movie was great. The cinematography, acting, directing, story. If you enjoy a good movie Mr. Speilberg came through again.

Great casting. With all the sudalties and. Intrigue of the cold war. We are left with the insurities the spy games all sides played then and now

This is one of Tom Hanks better movies. it takes place during the Cold War between the US and the USSR. Tom Hanks plays a lawyer who is called on to negotiate the release of Gary Powers, the U2 pilot who shot down flying over Russia.

Very interesting story and great acting by Tom Hanks and direction by Steven Spielberg. Was on the edge of my seat during the story.

This movie was top notch from beginning to the credits at the end. You knew how it would end up and it still had you on the edge of your seat.

If you are interested in history this is a great movie, but even if you are not familiar with the history behind it you will enjoy this movie.

I saw the trailer and wasn't quite sure. Then again, it's Tom Hanks. Can't go wrong with him these days. Hate to rent, love to own.

Tom Hanks is great in this Cold War movie about winning the freedom of U-2 pilot Gary Powers for Soviet spy Rudolf Abel. Of course if you know your history, you know Tom Hanks character will succeed. Directed by Steven Spielberg.

The Berlin Wall is now history but it wasn't that long ago that it was there as a reminder of why we had military units in Germany.

I remember this incident (Gary Powers/U2 Pilot) and this film is a must see as a reflection of the cold war and the suspicions on both sides. Hanks does a great job as the central character and gives one of his best performances.

This is a really enjoyable movie to watch. The supporting actor Oscar was well deserved for Mark Rylance. Tom Hanks also does a great job.

This was an excellent movie. It is a shame that Tom Hanks did not get nominated for an academy award for his performance. He was fantastic.

Tom Hanks does an excellent job of character portrayal. It has just enough action to keep the story moving. I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

Missed this at the theater, forgot about it and found it on sale. Well worth watching.

My new Sony 55' TV is great, it was easy to set up and it has a great picture. I wish it had a simple manual included instead of on line.
