Well deserved supporting actor oscar for Mark Rylance

Good movie we enjoyed it. Tom Hanks good as usual.

Very good film. This film was well worth purchasing.

Not that I expected that,but the story was a little slow going for me. The story is a true one and I did enjoy the movie,but at times a little like.....ok,what's going to finally happen. I would only buy it again if the price were extremely low. Not BAD though.

Nice espionage film. Lots of excitement and action.

I was excited to see this Speilberg and Coen brothers collaboration, and I was let down. Now while the film obviously is very well made and well acted that only gets you so far. This film ultimately will most likely bore you because of its unnecessary near 2 1/2 hour run time, and a lack of intense, interesting scenes. I'm not asking for explosions every five minutes, there are more than enough films out there that keep you invested completely with dialogue, but there has to be a sense of stakes and interest in what's happening, and this film just didn't do it for me. I didn't hate it, but I did fall asleep through it, and that's still saying something.

A good but not great effort from Spielberg, it had some good acting but the story was, although interesting, fairly standard. It probably received oscar nominations mainly because of the Spielberg name and the fact it didn't have aliens.

It was good, but I don't think this ranks up there with Spielberg's finest movies. Tom Hanks is good, but not great. And I'm sorry, but I really don't see how Mark Rylance deserved his Best Supporting Actor win here.

Best thing about the film is the subject matter and history. Film pacing is deliberately slow, works well though. As with all Speilberg films now, the movie ensures you walk away with the story moral

I found it interesting. I was unaware of the negotiations of the exchange. I purchased the movie based on the review of a friend. I would recommend renting it first before making a purchase.

Mark Ryland won Best Supporting Actor, and it wasn't without reason. He is the forefront of the film, and kept me interested. It's a good depiction of the Cold War.

I wanted to see this in the theater, but I didn't have an opportunity. So, when I saw it in the store I snagged it at a reasonable price.
