total confusion horror not worth the money do not buy

Good thrilling movie with lots of suspense and action

Everyone keeps calling it an "anti-super hero" movie. It really isn't more than an alien "they look like us and they are bad" horror movie. One thing that hurts the movie or maybe makes it better is the lack the main character trying to be good.

A rough and tumble villain origin story packed with grit and gore that most cinephiles will adore. It's creepy, it's twisted with a most unusual Superman origin. It's delightfully devilish and bad fun.

This was a pretty fun and dark movie. It held my attention the whole time and the only reason I gave it 4 stars was that I felt it was a little too short for my liking but that's just me ! Give it a shot

This was such a DARK movie!!! Don’t get me wrong, it was good and I enjoyed it but thy did try to push the limits with this one as far as the storyline went with the main character. NO human was safe in this movie!!!

This movie was phenomenal and well written. It was such a breath of fresh air, as this is the only movie I could think of which implemented the genres of horror and comic books into one. Brightburn is definitely a must watch for movie lovers.

Very interesting, very intriguing take on the "good guy" superhero movies. The kid in this movie is really bad, disturbingly bad. I really hope that they continue a series with other evil superheros!!!

this movie was great its basically what would happen if a similar alien with superman like powers would come to earth, but he wouldn't have the same moral compass as superman, i hope theres a sequel the story wasn't finished in my opinion

I got this movie for something to watch that was different, I wasn't expecting too much out of it, however I was captivated, and surprised by how good it really was. I would definitely recommend it. It was a great movie

This was an amazing movie, and I was really disappointed when it ended; there could be SO much more development in the character and story, but it needed to be "movie length" I suppose. Well worth the time!

I enjoyed this movie two times and going for three. The special effects are awesome and the twisted plot ? WOW !! I waited for this to go on sale and got a great deal ( in store ) at Best Buy. I strongly recommend this product.

What would happen if a young boy finds out he's from another planet and discovers he has powers? What if he didn't turn out like the Clark Kent we all know? Interesting take on the origin story but with a horror aspect. Good movie.

A pretty great looking 4K release looks and sounds great the movie itself is also pretty good what if Superman was evil can't beat that. Would recommend to anybody looking for a twist on your normal superhero movies.

I don't want to give anything away, but this is a great movie for comic/superhero fans. What a different perspective...I think we all have thought about this side of the story!

Absolutely great take on the Super Hero horror aspect. The movie looks at it as what if instead of being good, a super hero is bad. Sets up a possible sequel or a wider world that also could be made into a movie.

All of elements were there to create a great horror version of Superman, but an incoherent plot, unbelievable character choices and focus on gore over story blew it. Disappointed to say the least.

Had to pick this up. The Elseworlds or What if comics are always my favorites and I was more than curious to check this out. Superman as a scary creepy kid, and not raised by the Kent’s? Okay I really enjoyed it

Really interesting film. Gotta like weird horror. It's not, like many have said to me, Superman. It's not even close. It's this well acted little film that's well worth watching.
