movie?? well not so. trailer may have made it look that way but this kid is the opposite

New take on an old familiar hero story... but what if our hero grew up a little less perfectly? Is the evil in him from birth or our we truly the sum of our experiences? I'm not sure if I end up on his side or frightened for everyone but I do know that I want to watch it again to figure it out. Well done.

The anti Superman is what you would think it is, not as great as the original

Brightburn did not burn that bright. The movie was a let down....expected more.

it was better than i thought, i dont listen to want other people say about movies its not always what they think is good or bad we all have a mind and at least if you can think for yourself the better we al different so embrace yourself.

A dark look at what can happen to a young person given great power without a moral compass to guide them. You keep hoping he will find his direction and in the end he does. It's just not the one normally taken. Great story that doesn't wimp out relative to the main character but this is not for young children.

This was a great idea on what if Superman was a bad alien. I liked the movie but very butal and bloody. Some scene could have been toned down. Otherwise, I added this to my library because I wanted to see it and there was a great deal at Best Buy as usual.

A light-hearted take on the Superman genre, showing how things could have gone differently (and, perhaps, a bit more realistically) inside of the mind of the typical adolescent.

total confusion horror not worth the money do not buy

This movie was a realistic story about if superman did come to earth and how he would be treated and possibly how he would react to us. I really feel that this was a great portrayal of humanity and our fickleness. Be care who you let into your life. You may regret it.

Good thrilling movie with lots of suspense and action

Everyone keeps calling it an "anti-super hero" movie. It really isn't more than an alien "they look like us and they are bad" horror movie. One thing that hurts the movie or maybe makes it better is the lack the main character trying to be good.

A rough and tumble villain origin story packed with grit and gore that most cinephiles will adore. It's creepy, it's twisted with a most unusual Superman origin. It's delightfully devilish and bad fun.

This was a pretty fun and dark movie. It held my attention the whole time and the only reason I gave it 4 stars was that I felt it was a little too short for my liking but that's just me ! Give it a shot

This was such a DARK movie!!! Don’t get me wrong, it was good and I enjoyed it but thy did try to push the limits with this one as far as the storyline went with the main character. NO human was safe in this movie!!!

Very interesting, very intriguing take on the "good guy" superhero movies. The kid in this movie is really bad, disturbingly bad. I really hope that they continue a series with other evil superheros!!!
