I bought this Brim espresso machine for a great deal but I decided to return it anyway. Prior to this, I owned 2 Breville Barista Expresses. The problem with the Brevilles is that they inevitably break after a few years of use. They cost hundreds to repair. And if you want to repair yourself, Breville makes it very difficult to order the needed parts. So I wanted to move away from Breville. The Brim is a decent machine, but more experienced users will probably not be happy with it. The non-pressurized baskets produced zero crema for me even with freshly ground coffee beans. The pressurized basket produces a ton of crema, but it's filled with air bubbles. You can see air bubbles coming out of the spouts as the espresso is pouring out. And it pulls a shot in about 15 seconds--way too quick. Brim's instruction manual tells you how to program the shot volume to your liking, but neither the manual nor on their website are instructions how to return to default settings. I had to call customer service to get that information which was strange to me. It feels like it was rushed to market. If you can get this machine for $250 like I did, it could be worth it. But $400? No way Jose`.

This little gadget is so much fun to use! I can’t wait to learn new recipes to make using it. It is so well made, and very eye appealing. It looks great on my kitchen counter. It’s a high quality product, and a must have for the serious coffee drinker! The instructions are easy to follow, and clean up is a snap! It makes a seriously great cup of java!

The brim 19 bar espresso maker is a incredible product. I received mine free from PINCHme. Never owing one before I thought it would be difficult. The Manuel made it very easy to make one. The product it self it very sturdy. Although I've only made an espresso less than 10 times since I've had it. The product does seem it has good quality. I would recommend this espresso machine.

This the second Brim I received after trading in the first one with the exact same problem. Waited 2 hrs on customer support with Brim directly, they finally answered and hung up on me. Makes no difference what grind, fine, extra fine, regular grind with any of the 4 baskets. The bar gauge barely reaches the lower left side of gauge at the beginning pressure line, and won't go beyond that. It leaks water into the low pan excessively. I'm returning this second one, and will never buy another Brim 19 bar espresso maker. A total lemon, both of them, and no customer support response at Brim in NY after waiting 2 hrs with music, saying please continue to hold.... yea, all day long on hold waiting? Take a hike Brim

I love this espresso machine! It looks great, makes excellent espresso with crema and great cappuccino! It is easy to use, fun and better than Starbucks. This is a quality machine, extremely well made and includes everything you need. I would highly recommend this product, enjoy!

Started out making great espresso with plenty of pressure and hot. It’s a beautiful machine. Bought right before the pandemic shut-down. After a few months it started to putter and no longer had enough pressure to push water through the ground coffee. Unfortunately by the time everything reopened, my return window had passed. I wish there were some repair options.

Just purchased this espresso machine a few days ago, it looks great but it did not work good from the beginning. It’s loud, it shakes a lot and the pressure is not working properly. It leaks from the water spout. My daughter works in the coffee business and has a lot of experience with espresso makers and was really disappointed with this machine. I saw some good reviews prior to purchasing it but should have read the negative one because we ended up with a bad machine just like others customers who purchased this machine. Will be returning it back to Best Buy.

I am rating this a 3 star for a couple reasons. First because the pressure gage does not work, it stays at pre-infusion the whole time. 2nd because the steam wand takes a very long time to "pre-heat". 3rd is because the drip tray is pretty small. There are many good things about this machine for most people. One last reason is that Brim company has gone out of business. But if you think you will ver want to upgrade I would go with a different machine. The reason most people buy a machine like this is because it is easy. You can drive 30 min to a Best Buy and pick it up and this is appealing for most people but I would definitely recommend something else. I would recommend the Gaggia Classic Pro it is around 50 dollars more but you get a lot more for your buck. And if you have any more wiggle room I would go with the Rancillio Silvia. Around the same price as Breville.

Great expresso maker for even a person that didn’t have any idea how to make expresso. So easy and so much fun to make special coffees. Frothing milk was a challenge, but well worth once we figured it out. Looks great on counter and very easy to clean. Lots of fun!

Like another reviewer, no matter what I did, all I got was hot coffee with an oil slick of crema. I tried several grinds, different tamps, and I could get no crema (went through a pound of coffee and used fresh from the bag as well). This is not my first machine and my previous machine (different brand) I got crema all day long, and I used it for years. I checked the water temp on this Brim (at the head) and it ran from 170f to 190f, which is not hot enough to get crema from any grind. Minimum is 190f. I decided to return it and not take another chance due to the cost of the machine.

I am enjoying this espresso maker! I’m a mom and life is busy and I am happy I can froth my milk up at home! Bonus it’s a stainless steel frother!! It’s easy to clean up too. Tastes delIcious!

This machine is a crap. Everything the the Meagan I’ve reviews all say are true. 8 months and this thing broke. The pressure gauge maxes out past all the notches and won’t make but a few drops. Wasted my expense I’ve coffee trying to fix. Reached out to brim, to no avail they won’t do anything. Also, did the vinegar clean and still broken. Do not buy beware!!!!!!!! Spend more on a better brand that’s for sure.

The machine works great until there's an issue. The enamel on the cup warmer began peeling off within the warranty period. When I was finally able to contact the company they stated that even though the machine was under warranty this was not covered. My biggest issue is, that after having the machine over 3 years, the filter gasket needed to be replaced. This part is a "consumable" replacement part and needs to be changed so often because of wear...takes about 2 minutes to replace. The problem: after weeks of waiting for a reply from the company, they stated that they do not sell them, nor do they have any available. They also do not offer any aftermarket alternative. Terrible Customer Service

Good looking machine but less than year broken and company do not response to my claim even I have 2 years warranty . Sending email and calling to company, I do get any answer from company. Custom service are so bud they do not answer my phone call. Do not buy this item.

Brim doesn’t respond back via email or phone about warranty replacement on their items that break after a few months of use.
