Much better scanner than the smaller Brother scanr
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this scanner to replace the smaller Brother scanner when it died (only lasted me a few months), and this scanner is much better. It scans more quickly (with double sided option) and it was easily set up for wireless connectivity. The main improvement needed is that, when pages are loaded, they easily skew from the scanning path and the resulting scan is always a little "tilted." This holds true even when its only one page being scanned.

Scanner great, software out of date

The Mac's drivers were not yet supporting current Sierra OSx and support I found to be not very supportive. The Windows drivers are current, so temporally I'll use only with Windows but hopeful an update for Mac is released.

I'm having trouble downloading some of the software from the Brother site (the biz card reader software) so I'm a little frustrated as that was one of my primary reasons for purchasing this particular device.Over all does what it's supposed to, and does it adequately (except for biz cards)
