Software old-school and incapable of doing the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very disappointed in this scanner. It was exceedingly slow to scan and even slower to identify with its very poor software.

Great for scanning full pages
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really struggles with receipts unless you are placing them in the sleeve. Fine for a few receipts at a time but 100 at a time this becomes too time consuming. If you dont use the sleeve, it chews up the receipt.

Keep Shopping
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are really patient, this scanner might be a good match. However, compared to a Neat product, it doesn't hold a candle as far as ease of operation. So much extra work is involved after the initial scan, you might as well not bother.

Awesome Scanner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually buy scanners that cost $400 to $500. I decided to check this one out. It is fantastic! Small and easy to take with you. I love the machine and really LOVE the price.

Maybe decent for home use... Not worth the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a scanner for at home use, I'd suggest buying a printer with a built in scanner. If you're looking for a scanner to use at work for medium usage (daily, but not hundreds of pages), I would NOT recommend this one. This scanner has only the capability to handle very light scanning (maybe 10 pages a week), but if you're only looking for light scanning, why buy a $250 scanner?? -There is no set up required for the scanner, just plug a few cords in. -Installation of software was a bit of a longer process, but still nothing crazy. -It scans a little slowly. It claims to scan 18ppm, but if you're scanning at 300dpi or higher, expect closer to 10 ppm. -Pro: the image quality is decent! -It advertises duplex scanning, which is nice, but you would naturally assume that it has the capability to scan single sided pages - wrong. If you want to scan single sided sheets to a network (versus USB) it will NOT let you. (If you want to scan single sided sheets via USB it will work). I spoke to customer service and was told that this is just "a limitation of the device". How is it that the device can scan single sided sheets to a PC but not to a network? This is a major flaw in the product if this is ever to be used for anything other than a home scanner (to which again I would ask why a $250 scanner for your home?). This product can't be used by small businesses or offices looking to scan documents to shared networks. -The device feels very flimsy. The plastic feeder that puts the paper through the scanner snaps into place but feels like if you apply any pressure at all it will snap in two. -The device gets jammed easily. A simple fix, but still a pain. -Sometimes it just quits working and you have to power it off and on -After about four hours of toggling with it (and maybe scanning a total of 30 pages), it refused to scan anything. The screen would read "scanning" for about a minute without doing anything and then would simply return to the home page. While I'm sure this was just a bad device in this aspect, it says a lot about the model as a whole. Returning this product as soon as possible.

Nice duplex scanner!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up with usb was easy but set up over Wifi was a little difficult. Once completed, scans were clear and fast even with "blank page skip" setting. Enjoy being able to scan over wifi and I like the PDF converter pro that comes with it. Does not lose your setting if you unplug it or turn it off in which a review complained about on another site. I kind of wish the touch screen was a little bigger. Took one star off for set up over wifi difficulty. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Works as promised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good scanner for remote use. Sits on far side of the home from the router and is used for scanning articles or other misc items when not in the home office. Easy to set up and retrieve scans from email.
