We had too much paper in our home office and didn't want to get anothe file cabinet. This was the perfect solution. It is small and has hardly any footprint on the desktop. Easy to set up - buy this one. While it does allow for multiple sheet feeding, most of ours were not perfectly smooth enough to stack. Single feed is pretty fast and not worth getting something more expensive as this is true of all machines. Our tax returns from our acct went through the multiple feeder perfectly.

Awesome little standalone scanner that provides super crisp scans. Love the double sided feature and auto scaling for anything that's not the standard letter size, such as business cards, IDs, portraits and receipts. I like using the app and get the scans directly to my smartphone. An awesome scanner. Definitely like standalone products over mutli function machines.

This is the first time that I have used a Brother mobile scanner and I am pleasantly surprised it works as well as the MFC-790cw I currently have. Simple to set-up and easy to use.

I buy a lot of document scanners for my company, but this one is nice and small and does not take up a lot of room like its bigger but faster siblings. Honestly, unless you are doing TONS of scanning like a whole file folder worth of document at once, the speed sacrifice doesnt seem so bad during every day use. I like the fact that its wireless capable so that I can move it around between two places.

it is very fast, i have not perfected the scan of pictures, but it really does documents and many paged documents

This is a great scanner for the price. It's great for around 20 pages or so but if you're scanning a larger number of pages it can be tricky. Very happy with it!

This is a great little scanner! It is very fast, compact, and easy to use.

I have access to scanner both at work and home, but my needs to quickly scan and file paper documents and get rid of originals were not really served by them. This one is excellent for that purpose. It is not big so I keep it in my kitchen and scan doc as they arrive by mail or otherwise and straight to my Evernote account. The format I use is "searchable PDF" which means to find docs is very simple. Strongly recommend.

This scanner has a small foot print but is big on features. it replaced an older more expensive Fujitsu. Brother Rocks!

Purchased this for my wife to use at work, she used to have a traditional portable scanner but that unit only had single sided scan capability she really needed the double sided option. Setup was very easy and software included is very easy to use as well. It is larger then the traditional stick portable scanners, but still able to be considered "portable".

Found this product easy to set up and use. Have generally had good success with Brother products.

It's quick, but one word of caution here: make sure the paper to be scanned is insert pretty straight or it will get shot through the scanner crooked and damaged. Also, software for Mac was poor and some of it only worded on Windows.
