Great for document scanning- works fast and quality is great

I bought similar scanner few years ago and it is amazing

This scanner is exactly what I needed. It was easy to install and I have not had any issues what do ever with it. I use it extensively to scan files of documents and am flying through it with the help of this scanner!

Easy to set up. Use it a lot About 100 sheets a day

Bought this to digitize my mail/receipts over a network. Network configuration - easy, but upload time is really slow for being hardwired into network. Scanning works well for mail, but receipts is hit and miss. If you fold the receipt and put it in your pocket forget about it. It’ll jam the scanner. Overall 4/5

This scanner is very easy to setup and use. It is really fast and takes up very little real estate! I purchased one to "test" it, and then purchased five more for my employees, who all love them!

This machine is very fast and accurate. I have had to scan years worth of documents and didn't think this could keep up, but it did great. To scan two sided it does both sides at once. I highly recommend this for business or personal

Brother makes a much better product than rival Epson. We have several Epson's deployed and they have refused to update their driver software to support Windows 10. Brother has much better support and a much better product.

I love this scanner. Quick and easy to use. Software allows scan to cloud. Only thing I do not like is the limit on length. If you have a very long receipt you have to cut it half to scan it.

Have many documents to scan and a file cabinet full was done in about an hour. Everything was organized, so I just scanned and labeled folders and it was done!

I bought this to cut down on scan time when using regular printer combos. This cut the time in half. Now on instructions, it practice the figure it out concept, but it is easy to do.

got this printer to replace another one. i wouldn't buy it again papers kept jamming and touch screen was to sensitive.

this is my second machine, I have another just like it, but needed to expand my scanning ability. They run great and are used daily.

FOR THE $$ YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE IS IT TAKES A BIT FOR IT TO PROCESS THE SCANS AND IF YOU TRY TO RUN IT WIRELESS TO A NETWORK DRIVE FORGET ABOUT IT.. SO KEEP IT LOCAL AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

This scanner checks all the boxes. It's nice, too, that Brother offers Paperport scanning software.

We bought this for the office after having another brother scanner. The prior scanner we had issues after about a year. This scanner everything ok so far.

Scans super fast, jams sometimes but not enough to care too much. Really love it!

Setup was a snap, I set mine up on my wireless network, if you follow the wizard and the quick start instructions, You will be up and running in no time. Boot time for the scanner is about 10 seconds The on-scanner screen is very bright and easy to read. The on-board screen is very user friendly. If you have repeated uses you can set up shortcuts to make your job faster. After setting up the scanner I tried to scanned in 25 4 by 6 photos. I set my default for simplex and 600 dpi and hit start, and the photos immediately started scanning. It took less than 20 seconds to scan in all 25 and drop them in my documents. (all wireless). You can also set up to scan to your phone by downloading an app (iOS/android) great for scanning in Documents and saving them to your phone for quick retrieval. I then had about 50 duplex pages of information I needed scanned. So, after adjusting the feeder tray to my paper size I placed them in and started the scan. I took about 30 seconds. I was amazed and the speed and overall quality of the documents and pictures. You can scan to email, pdf (single or multiple page files), jpeg , a folder on your network, To FTP/SFTP site, to usb. Your resolution choices are 300 or 600 DPI. You can scan in gray, color, or BW. The optional install programs Presto Bizcard and MAX to pdf converter, and PDF maker/viewer plus. Are great programs should you need a place to store your scanned files or business cards and keep them all organized. I recommend this especially for professionals that scan cards or lots of documents. The foot print of the scanner is about the size of a small shoe box and weighs about 5 lbs. It is put together very nicely, /it does exactly what it is designed for, FAST SCANNING. The only cons that I have is that I wish we had more control of the DPI instead of just 300 or 600. So if you’re in to scanning pictures for archival purposes would look a few more models higher than this. If it is strictly docs then this is your go to guy. I’m going to set this one up at my mom’s as she has 40 years of Genealogy docs that need scanned and her Multifunction printer/scanner, copier would take weeks upon weeks to get this done. But with this unit I could be done in a matter of hours!! The other con is during the setup. When installing you do not have the option of choosing which drive to install it on. I have 4 drives on my system and all have different purposes. My C drive is an SSD drive that I only wish to have the Operating system on and that only in case I have to restore. But this unit defaults to your home drive and installs everything there. I would like the ability to install where I choose. Other than these small cons (which shouldn’t stop you from buying) this is a top notch scanner. I would recommend this to family and friends.

I've been scanning old client files. I've run maybe thousands of pages through it without a hitch. It has definitely paid for itself.

The scanner works well. The wireless scanning capabilities allow me to scan from 2 computers and a smart phone.
