I was able to buy this about a couple of months before the Best Buy in Mason City, Iowa closed, so it was good to at least get one more purchase from that store. As for the movie itself, Hailee Steinfeld is a great actress and the story for the movie is pretty good. I love the fact that it does not involve today's politics, as that is incredibly annoying with modern-day movies. A great movie for those looking for something good to watch in the Sci-fi area that does not involve current politics​ or any politics at all.

The sixth entry in the Transformers franchise is arguably the best. Made as a soft reboot Bumblebee is set in the 80s and stars Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena. Bumblebee is sent to Earth to set up a outpost for the Autobots after the fall of Cybertron. Bumblebee falls afoul of John Cena and The American military. After a narrow escape from a pair of Decepticons. Bumblebee turns into a VW Bug and goes into hibernation until Steinfeld find him believing him to be a broken down car. This movie is flat out nostalgic fun

The dvd was in great condition no scratches or anything and the movie was amazing!

This movie is a prequel to the Transformers movie. It has more comedic scenes than action, but still well worth watching. While the original Transformers movies are more action packed, this one is well worth owning as it gives insight into the character of Bumblebee. The picture quality is amazing and if you own a Dolby Atmos player & soundbar, you won't be disappointed by the theater quality sound. 4k disc is equipped with Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos. Also comes with BD which includes special features and digital code.

I have been a fan of transformers since childhood in the 80's, and while I enjoyed the film series I always hated the "look" of the characters. Granted I understand they won't look exactly like they did in comics and toy form, but within the first five minutes of this film I was happy they finally got some of them right. As for the film itself, without any spoilers it was fun. It's set in the 80's so you can't go wrong with that. And the story was okay. It is probably one of the better transformer films so far.

Bumblebee is the transformers movie that should have been made from the beginning. As much as I tried to like the bayformers movies, they just seemed to get worse wit every sequel. Bumblebee, however, is a perfect mix of what fans like and want with some of the stuff that worked in those previous films. The Blu-ray transfer of this film is fantastic and makes for a great film to watch at home on a big tv.

As a fan of the cartoon, when I was a kid, I was happy, but not ecstatic about the first Transformers movie. I just didnt care to much for the "reimagining" of vehicles. But when I got around to watching this prequel, I was taken by surprise when they started from the beginning, before shia LaBeouf, with the original vehicles and showed the reasoning behind the, later "new look". John Cena was a bit too "John Cena" for this movie. It honestly could've done fine without him. But over all I thought it was a pretty good movie. Dont expect to be blown away, just if tour like me, and wished you saw the animated version come to life, you wont be disappointed

I grew up watching each of Michael Bay's Transformers film. While I initially enjoyed those with glossy eyed goggles, nowadays, it aged terribly with its plot and derivation from the source material as it embraces the several Michael Bay hallmarks (and that's not just the explosions). Bumblebee has heart in a coming-to-age adventure set in the 80s. The 80s is where the film finds its soul as it embraces the tone of movies set in that much more harmless time period.

This is by far one of the best Transformers films. And i am so lucky to grab the 4k steelbook. There was only one location here in Las Vegas with very limited quantity. The 4k is jaw dropping on my 65" c6 OLED LG screen. The colors pop out that will knock you out of your seat. The cast is amazing and Hailee Steinfeld is stunningly beautiful! I highly recommend this film! A Must see!!

Highly recommend! Great and fun movie! They did a great job giving it an 80s feel, great 80s song selection, awesome story, and more! Hailee Steinfeld did an amazing job in her role! And seeing the Transformers in their G1 appearance was AWESOME!!! Transformers finally going in the right direction they desperately needed! Since buying this film, ive rewatched it at least 5 times now and it’s still fun since the first watch! I’d give this movie more than 5 stars if I could!

A throwback to the 80's. this is how a transformer movie supposed to be, not the michael bay version he gave to the world. awesome to see the autobots and decepticons how they supposed to look (generation 1 bots) . geeked out when i saw optimus prime in his G1 form - almost brought a tear to my eye,lol. not that much action, but the story line was great. didn't go overboard with the action sequences. was worth the purchase to have in my collection.

This is a prequel to the Transformers movies that came out before it. This one starts out on the planet Cybertron with the 80's style transformers design. Then the story comes to Earth. I like this movie because of the nostalgia of the 80's. And the story is one of the best for a Transformers movie. I recomend this movie and also if you can find it the 80's Transformers the Animated movie. These are the best movies to own in my opinion.

A very welcome respite from the Micheal Bay Transformers re-brand. The movie may not have had as high of a budget as the 4 Bay movies, but it had more heart than we have seen in the last 3 for sure. With a great cast and crew. It was obvious that everyone involved loved what they were doing and paid beautiful homage to the G1 Transformers that started it all. Amazing acting by Hailee Steinfeld. Great Retro art Metal Box edition.

I have been a fan of Transformers for years, starting with the Cartoon G1 Series back in the 1980s to the newer Transformers cartoon and live action movies. If you are to see any live action Transformers movie, and are new to watching Transformers, take it from a ongoing fan of the franchise that this is by far the best live action Transformers movie to date! I would very much love to see a sequel by the directors and producers of this film.

So, the first Transformers movie was cool graphics wise but the story wasn't that great. As they made more and more the story got worse and worse to the point where the graphics couldn't save it anymore. I mean, they made a movie with Grimlock awful...which is hard to do, it's like they had to work to make a movie bad and have Girmlock in it. This movie however, is pretty decent. Story isn't bad, has some good fight scenes, and overall is the best of the bunch. In fact, I'd recommend to only watch this one and pretend the others do not exist.

The Transformer series of movies were getting less and less interesting as they tried to bolster the aging franchise. However, I enjoyed watching this backstory of the Transformer franchise. It seems to bring a fresh energy to the Transformer story line. Where they go from here (and keep it interesting) is another question that will be answered when the next movie comes out. Bumblebee in 4k is visually stunning and the action sequences are exciting to watch. So, just sit back and enjoy a fun adventurous ride to the origin of the Transformer's migration to Earth.

In 2014 when Age of Extinction had come out, a friend of mine had said that the movie was great despite the messy story because "an awesome premise is better than a well-made plot". Bumblebee is the first live action Transformers movie with an actually well made plot and a lot of heart and character. It is the most well received of the entire franchise. The awesome premise is the icing on the cake.

We all know Bumblebee was surprisingly one of the best Transformers movies yet. We also all know that you cant get any better presentation of this film than on this 4K disc. However, what many don’t know is you can’t get any better packaging than this exclusive Best Buy steelbook. It’s yellow, nicely articulated and heavily coveted by me. I paid extra just to have this yellow packaging and don’t regret it one bit.

After suffering through five insufferable films, Paramount finally gets Transformers right... and it isn’t even called Transformers. This spin-off is about a girl and her Autobot. It’s set in the ‘80s and has Transformers that actually look like their source material. The action is good but it doesn’t overtake the two important ingredients that any decent film requires: a great story and an even bigger heart! If the Transformers films continue on this course, we could see the revival of everyone’s favorite “Robots in disguise!”
