    Less then 4 months old and already needed a filter, even after replacing the filter it stopped filling the water jug and the ice machine completely stopped

      We appreciate you reaching out to share your experience. if you have not already done so, check the following: -- Make sure the water filter cartridge is seated correctly in the cartridge holder prior to rotating into housing. The teeth on the filter should be seated in the grooves in the holder. -- If pitcher is not detected, remove the pitcher and reseat it into the dispenser. Make sure it is seated properly. -- Make sure the float inside the pitcher is free floating. If the float is stuck, hold the lid upside down to see if the float moves in the track. If ice has formed, run the lid under warm water to melt the ice and increase the fresh food temperature. - You may also wish to check with the reseller to determine the warranty on the filter. If these issues continue, we recommend calling GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule an appointment to have this checked out. We're confident our service team can help. cafe_appliances

    The product is what we are looking for, but the manufacturing of the product is bad. The inside of the fridge was scratched really bad on round one. This is round two, there is scratches all on the inside. This is not on Best Buy, let me make that clear. But GE need to get there assembly people on the right page. We are three times in this one fridge.

    The refrigerator did not work when we received it and we had to find everything out for ourselves. Best buy was not very helpful.

    I fell in love with the look of the outside of all of these appliances. I was actually happy when my old fridge broke so because I was excited to purchase this one. I was pleasantly surprised by many of the features including the size of the drawers, storage, the backlight feature, and the ease of cleaning. What I hate is that the doors are so wide they are not able to be opened if the refrigerator is pushed in so that it is flush with your countertops and cabinets. I constantly push it in so it looks better, then when the door opens, it gets scratched by my quartz counters. I ordered touch up paint, but it happens constantly and it's ugly. The pull handle on the freezer falls off every month. Also, a month after the 1 year warranty was up, the ice maker stopped working and that was a $500 fix. This has become such a sticking point with my husband who cannot believe we paid $5K for a fridge that has so many issues. There are a lot of things I love about this fridge, but unfortunately the bad has outweighed the good to the point that I'm unlikely to complete the set.

    The fridge itself is as nice as expected if not better than expected. The purchase however was a bit funny. Bestbuy screwed up and didn't charge tax initially on the online purchase, until they charged me after the fact without telling me. Then I was missing pieces for the fridge and Bestbuy did nothing to help me. I contacted the store, spoke with a manager and had the appliance guy for Bestbuy call me, but they just kept saying "how good a deal I got" like that should be enough to overcome the missing parts? We had to call GE appliance to get the issue addressed and they did fix all our issues with missing parts.

    We love this refrigerator. It is extra roomy inside and the backlight LED is fantastic! We also love the two slide out middle drawers. We highly recommend this fridge.

    BUYER BEWARE!! Nice looking piece of crap

    We bought this unit about 4 months ago with in 2 weeks of ownership it dented when I leaned agains it and then again win my 3 year old rolled a toy into it. It just dents way to easy we had a May tag for 15yrs and it was built like a tank compared to this thing. The metal is about as thin as a pop can. We called yo see if we could get the door fixed or replaced. Best buy told us they couldn't do it until our GE warranty was up and GE told us they would send someone out but after 3 attempts to get them to send someone out and 3 no call no shows we gave up. We have tried to treat this thing with kid gloves since then and the other day we noticed the back that lights up inside of the fridge is cracked too. Its just cheap thin plastic! This is a $4,500 refrigerator after taxes and delivery and its built as cheap as possibly! Thin cheep metal that scratchs if you put a light, tiny, magnetic, potatoe chip clip on it and dents if you do more than breath on it and for the love of Saint Pete dont let your milk inside the fridge touch the back wall or it will crack as easily as an egg. Shoot now that i think of it, where it cracked is where i was putting my eggs in their Styrofoam egg carton, lol! Also the wifi features are inconvenient, confusing and really dont work, we tried but never use them they are worthless! We are beyond disappointment! We bought an entire Cafè set, with stove above stove microwave and dish washer and we love everything except the refrigerator. Such a disappointment!!! Just here yo try to help other families from making the same mistake that we made!

    Purchased a Cafe refrigerator in excellent condition. Was delivered with significant scratches. Was told by delivery sercice that it was an open box item and damage should be expeceded. Doors were aligned at the store but for some reason it was delivered with miss alligned doir and not adjusted by delivery service.

    Lots of issues with the water system inside the refrigerator second fridge we bought of the same model issue with water filter leak and then with the inside picture upgraded to bosch.
