Disappointed and Delayed

Our microwave (Whirlpool) was only a few years old, so I objected to replacing the newly used microwave, until...now...and decided to buy a new Cafe microwave for Christmas 2024. I ordered on November 27, 2024, and went to the store on 12-13-24 per instructions on my order form to pick up the microwave (paid). Unfortunately, the microwave was not available for store pickup. I was informed that the microwave would be in for pickup on the new date of December 18, 2024, due to "manufacturer delay in production." I was disappointed in the lack of communication since I was not informed of the delay via email or text. I have been told by the salesclerk "that the pick-up of the Cafe microwave will be available at opening on 12-18-24, followed by install on the date of the same (12-18-24). I am scheduled to travel to Chicago on 12-19-24 and pray that all of the above goes according to schedule. My experience does not represent the expected excellence of customer services of the Best Buy Brand, ps Due to the "confusion," I asked the sales rep at Best Buy if the install charge that I paid for could be waived...he responded...."that is not in my pay grade.".....just another "delay,"....I thought to myself.

"Sensor" feature seems to be spot-on. I really like the copper band on the handle...a nice touch.
