Not practical for a family

Our first Café dishwasher (non-drawer model) only lasted four years, so we tried this one hoping for a better experience—but that hasn’t been the case. The biggest issues are that it does not dry and it does not clean effectively. I’ve tried every combination of wash and dry cycles with no improvement. I pre-rinse everything before loading—no food goes into the dishwasher—yet even cups come out with liquid still inside (coffee mugs, juice cups, etc.). The wash cycles are not intuitive; it’s often unclear whether one drawer or both will run. Capacity is also extremely limited. At this point, I can realistically only wash cups. Silverware does not get clean consistently, and there’s no point in loading larger items—they don’t come out clean or dry and take up nearly the entire drawer. If you’re only washing a few cups and utensils each day, this might work for you. However, it is not practical or functional for a family.

The one thing I prefer about the other one, was that I could pause the dishwasher and add a dish. This one has the buttons inside, so once it’s going, I can’t do that.

Posted .If using a tablet or gel pouch, place it in the cutlery basket or at the edge of the base rack. Please don't place tablets or put liquid detergent in the detergent dispenser. Use only powder detergent designed for automatic dishwashers in the detergent dispenser. If this information doesn't help, we recommend you follow the troubleshooting suggestions in the "Dishes and flatware not clean" section on pg. 23 of the Owner's Manual.
