    Refrigerator is beautiful. Matte black is a nice finish but I just wish it came in black stainless steel to match my other appliances which, by the way, are a step down from the Cafe line. Nothing negative to say about this fridge. Works perfectly and has an elegant look and design to it

    Everything about the refrigerator is good except the ice maker. It works, but it keeps spitting out this black and white powdery mixture in the ice. Doesn’t have it in the water.

      We hate to hear this is happening. It sounds like carbon dust from the water filter. Upon installation of the water filter, we recommend flushing 1-2 gallons of water through the dispenser as well as throwing out the first several batches of cubes. If you have done this, we encourage you to call GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment. We're confident they can help. cafe_appliances

    The appliance itself is great. I also paid for delivery and removal of my old appliance. The crew started off measuring incorrectly and arguing the new appliance would not fit. It did, like a glove. Then they said they would not hook it up unless I paid on the spot a $175 fee for a $5 shut off valve due to code. That is not true, as we were just inspected and have the shut off at the bottom of our basement stairs. Was a stressful time and glad they are gone.
