    I'm sorry that I fell for the hype of this coffee maker. The old Mr. Coffee that I replaced with this machine made better coffee. The interface is not user friendly and every pot of coffee I have made has turned out bitter, no matter which settings I use it's the same.bitter pot of coffee. The app does not work and I can't sync with Alexa, which was probably the main reason I bought this. There is not even a warming plate which I guess I didn't read far enough into the description to notice. I hate this coffee maker. 2 stars for being pretty otherwise zero.

Your coffee maker provides you with options like setting the brew strength and temperature so that you can get your perfect cup of coffee. You can also set your coffee maker to Gold and let it choose the optimal settings, which you may want to try! The type of coffee and freshness is a large factor in the flavor, taste, and aroma of brewed coffee. The water reservoir should be filled with fresh, clean water up to the number of cups you are brewing or to the MAX level indicator. Water should have some minerals for best flavor, and we do not recommend using distilled water for brewing.

    Beautiful design, doesn’t always start. There must be a malfunction in the sensor that gives back an error and doesn’t start the coffee maker when press the start button. I need to add pressure to the carafe to get it to begin. Annoying and is a crap shoot in wether the programmed time will start.

    Overpriced piece of JUNK

    Posting my review again since my original 1 star review was removed. Absolutely horrible product- stains right away, pieces have broked off. Customer service emailed me but did not help me because I do not have the original receipt as it was a gift, then they deleted my 1 star review. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW, MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PRODUCT, COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE PRACTICES.

    Wife loves starting it from bed in the mornings. Bought one online that was top rated and it didn't connect to internet. Manufacturer sent a replacement and it had the same problem. Very happy with our purchase.

    This is very pretty, but thats about it. I’ve had for a few months and heres what I’ve discovered. #1 Coffee grounds left at bottom of brew. #2 water reservoir always has leftover water after brew #3 messy clean up #4 coffee pot has a lip that will store clean water after its washed so you have to wipe the inside. There are alot if silly festures. Would have much preferred a better quality unit vs wifi. Plan to return

    Machine broke right after a year

    I usually don’t bother to write a review for any product, but I am very disappointed with this coffee machine. As a simple drip coffee machine that costs more than $300, I would expect it to last at least a couple of years. However, right after a year mark, the machine stopped working for me. It kept giving the Error 4 message. I tried to unplug and plug back in to let it complete the brewing, but the coffee is just not hot(only 140F). Now the unplug trick won’t work either. There is no instruction on how to troubleshoot this error. I tried to contact the cafe customer service, they don’t even know! The customer service agent had to look up the manual and found out there is no guide for this error. She guessed it might be either the sensor or the heating part is broken. Because it is right after 1 year warranty, they won’t provide anyway to help fix it! The answer I got is that they don’t accept small appliance?? What kind of answer is that? Isn’t your whole brand based on making small appliance?? I would suggest everyone to avoid this brand. With the same price, I would definitely choose Breville over this next time! Now I have to figure out where to dump this useless machine.

    I was excited about the capabilities of this machine but was disappointed before even sampling what it could do. Upon set up according to the manual, I attempted to start my first brew and received an “add H2O” message. After adding more H2O, I received the same message. After filling the reservoir completely, same message. Then an error message appeared that locked up the machine. There is no troubleshooting in the manual, app, or website. After speaking to 3 different people in customer service, not one knew anything about the coffee maker. I have no confidence that this machine is carefully engineered and tested and 100% certain that if something goes wrong a year from now that it will be easy to address. Save your money. I will be returning it.

    Stopped working too soon!!!

    Save your money! This thing may look sleek and beautiful but I barely ever used mine except when we had company over and it suddenly stopped working 15 months into purchase! The pot sensor stopped getting detected and now I can't find a replacement pot for it. Absolutely ridiculous and unimpressed by GE's service. Moreover the temperature of the coffee was never as hot as wanted, had to wait extra time for it to be hot after brewing. Strange!

    Replacement stopped workingbtoo

    Loved this coffee maker and worked well just Past warranty. Then when i descaled, error messages came up. No where to go to see how to remedy. Was walked thru a partial solution. Then for 10 cups I’d have to push brew 3-4x for the pot to brew. Then stopped completely. Received a replacement thru store manager. It worked for 3 months then error messages began again. Took it back and received full refund. Bought a stick vacuum cleaner. Very disappointed in quality.

    Makes a mess when you pour from the pot. Scoop vs water is confusing coffee is either too strong or very weak!! Wouldn’t buy another.

The measuring scoop is designed for one level scoop of coffee per 4.5 oz serving of coffee being brewed, and 4.5 oz of water per serving is the common measurement for a regular cup of coffee.     Absolute garbage.

    Do not buy this or ANY GE cafe brand appliance. They only warranty for 365 days because they know they use the cheapest Chin3se components that won’t last much longer. Mine broke in three months. They replaced but broke again 14 months later.

    Overpriced Junk that brews freezing cold coffee

    Hunk of Junk. I've had for 5 weeks and every day it was brewing the coffee at lower and lower temps - finally today it shot out ice cold coffee. Says it brews to 205 - occasionally got up to 185 at best. Return policy also sucks and now I'm dealing with GE instead fo best buy. Absolutely inexcusable a this price.

      Hello- We are very sorry to hear you are disappointed in your new Coffee Maker. This is such a beautiful machine, and we really want you to be happy. There is always going to be some level of coffee ground and oils that splash back onto the showerhead lid when the maximum level of coffee grounds is used. What you want to avoid is having the coffee grounds overflow into your coffee in the carafe. Here are a few causes for overflow, and some ways to avoid it. ~ Your coffee maker comes with a gold mesh basket filter in the brew basket insert. You can use a No. 4 paper filter instead, but using both the mesh filter and a paper filter will cause grounds to overflow into the basket insert or could splash coffee grinds and residue on the underside of the lid. ~
      We recommend using a medium-grind coffee, when possible. A finer grind is more likely to lead to an overflow of coffee grounds. ~ We also recommend using the scoop that comes with your coffee maker, and use a flush level of grounds. Heaping scoops can lead to too much coffee grounds and can potentially cause overflows. We hope this is helpful!     Waste of MONEY

    I have had the coffee pot since Christmas. It is only the beginning of February and the coffee pot stopped brewing. The glass pot does NOT keep your coffee hot. I’m not really sure what makes this garbage worth $350!!!!

      Hi there, and thanks for letting us know about this situation. We truly hate to hear you’ve had a concern with the carafe not keeping coffee hot, and the coffee maker is now not brewing. We know how frustrating that must be, especially when the coffee maker is only a few months old. This isn’t the great ownership experience we want you to have. The carafe is designed to keep your coffee hot because of the vacuum sealed, thermal design. It is meant to maintain the heat of the coffee for a minimum of an hour after brewing. Notice of your dissatisfaction with the carafe will be sent to our Design team for review; we value your insight, as we always want to know what our consumers think of our models. Regarding the trouble you’ve had with brewing, you may want to check that the carafe is in place properly; the brewing will pause or not start correctly if the carafe isn’t in place. The top of the carafe needs to be engaged with the drip stop lever on the bottom of the brew basket, or the water won’t flow properly into the carafe. Disconnecting the unit from power for a couple minutes before reconnecting may also help, as this resets the electrical components. We hope that information is helpful, but if you are unable to resolve the issue we have information on the limited warranty available on page 16 of the Use and Care manual.     Coffee isn’t hot once made. Have to microwave after which makes no sense especially for the price. Would not recommend at all

Clock illuminates on the display and the white dot on the temperature button will illuminate. To set AM/PM: Rotate the Brew/Select knob and push to select.
