It will randomly stop working and you have to turn the knob all the way to the right to get it working again. Would not purchase this toaster again.

Within 3 months the toaster stopped working in standard toast mode and would only toast in bagel mode. This means that only half of the slice would get toasted and I’d have to turn it around to toast the other side. I contacted GE and at the time, didn’t know my receipt was available in the Best Buy app. So I didn’t have a receipt and they did nothing for me. Over a TOASTER. REALLY? I am not going to shop GE again.

Not black

In the pictures both online and even on the packaging, the matte black option looks black. It’s actually more of a blueish slate color. More gray than black. I can’t speak to how it toasts because I am returning it for a refund. It matches nothing in my kitchen.

This toaster is made to seem high quality by having a high price tag and some fancy looks. However, it is simply a cheap toaster with some rose gold colored plastic. The main button is wobbly and cheap. The stainless steel looks horrible! The finish is soooo bad! To top it all off... This toaster shorted out after 8 uses! In the first week this thing just died. Best Buy won't replace it and GE Cafe has gave me the run around. Buyer Beware!!!

No toast to this toaster

I have the KitchenAid toaster that you drop the toaster is the slot, it automatically goes down and toasts. I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought this toaster. I guess I liked the fact it matched the coffeemaker, not a good reason to buy a toaster. I put the KitchenAid back on the counter.
