this game is amazing with all the war effects and 2 player co-op is great offline with the campaign story. highly recommended for a ps3 collection.

dont get this game. Its the same thing as call of duty 4 only they added the flame thrower. NO its WORST THAN COD4. Cod4 is a legend but cod5 is just sad. The multiplayer maps are boring and beleive me if you want to get a game get cod4 or rsv2. Also THERE IS 2 MUCH BLOOD!! IF U WANT 2 GET THIS FOR YOUR SON DONT. THE F BOMBS WILL LITERELY RIP ALL YOUR ARMS OFF PLUS LEGS AND OPEN UP YOUR CHEST.

if you play cod 4 too much you should play cod 5, its really not bad. Its just that most ppl still play cod 4

This game i thought was a waste of time, Activision should really stop making call of duty games. Infinity Ward made a lot better game. I was disapointed in a lot of qualities about this game. Terrible sound, in guns, levels and online play (like microphone). I really wouldnt spend the money to buy the game. There are a lot more intresting games out there.

The absolutley the only draw back is that you can not play w. more than one player online from the same console.

I feel that this game was not spouse to come out in the order it did the new game coming out call of duty modern warfare 2 should have been the next one in order so ie #5 in the series. I do not think it was smart that they went from mondern warfare back to old world war 2 style thats why I really never got into this game.

this game has the best online gameplay ever mini games are fun and it has a great story mode a must have

The game is really just one of those where it is made for people to run around crazy while shooting. If you like games like this then this game is for you. My biggest problem with the game is that without any challenge or skill needed the game becomes boring in very little time. I do like the price at Best Buy thought!!!!!

Great game, amzaing gamei love zombie mode. The new map on zombie mode is really hard though.

Why would they take us back to WWII...? There have been plenty of WWII games over the years. I think that COD 4 was such a hit because it was modern! Why couldnt they have given us a 2nd modern game with modern weapons????

Has anyone noticed not being able to get onto the online play with this game

I have played this game only once, but for a long time. I completed 4 levels with my friends and we had a great time... But we heard the f word 3 times the s word twice and the b word once. Very strong language. I would recommend this to people 21 and older.

awsome game...just wish the servers online ran on, didnt glitch out

Did not enjoy the game very much. I was being killed by grenades left and right that the character is to slow to get out of the way. The graphics are more PS2 than PS3 and to chaotic for pleasure. Your fellow soldiers are immune to enemy fire and grenades and will tell you to hurry up and follow only to put you right into enemy. I would get a grenade indication and try to throw which you only have a few seconds which lands with your fellow troops or try to jump out of the way and that was poor because you can see objects on ground that wont allow you to jump over. So if you like ulcers and grinding teeth go for it.

The best part of this game is zombies. The online is bs unless you use the MP40 because the guns suck. I play online zombies, but when I want to play some online multiplayer I go back to Modern Warfare.

This is the same as COD3 and is a step back in time. The weapons are not as good as COD4 and you cannot make out who is enemy vs. friendly. Campaign is not intuitive and the number of online players is much less than COD4. Hopefully COD6 will have modern/future weapons as well as better graphics, campaign and more online options. A true waste of $60. Get Resistance 2 until COD6 comes out.

this game is horrible the graphics r so bad,online is only 4 players that is so stupid, cod4 is way better i recommend cod4.

I am a HUGE COD 4 fan, probably one of my favorite games of all time. This game does not even come close to comparing to the quality of COD 4. Missions are easy, graphics are mediocre at best, and the game play is very choppy. Personally I would recommend that you wait till COD 6 which will be released by Infinity Ward instead of Activision. At very least, rent this game before you buy it.

The game takes us back to world war 2 .I never been into first shooters but bought and really enjoyed a more updated game with modern warfare and not again another ww2 game.The never ending war that I am sick of that shares no creativity and what a giant step in game revolution.WoW,I am back in world war 2.
