    It was a nice looking coffee maker but the carafe is so fragile that it broke just after a couple of months of use. I wouldn’t even let anybody else wash it. I was extra careful handling it. So my disappointment when it broke. Also hard to find a replacement. It was sold out at the Calphalon website.

    Bought this because of it's excellent reviews. Looking at the Calphalon website I noticed there wasn't a replacement carafe. Deal breaker. My counters are tile and I've broken more than one carafe with an accidental knock or slip. Didn't use it so 3 stars because it's supposed to be a very good coffee maker.
