This receiver is good if you really have to have one to play a turntable because it's hard to find those nowadays. It does have some problems. It is not powerful enough when running multiple speakers at an increased volume. The unit begins to overheat and shuts off. Another problem is the coaxial antenna. It is impossible to connect the antenna wire into the coax connector. I had to jury rig it in order to get it to work. Also I wasn't able to find another one that was able to get as good reception. The unit also needs more presets which are not very intuitive to set the stations. Reception is very good.

Needed an outside stereo with some power and the ability to switch from A and B or to use both channels. Very happy with the sound and was easy to set up. Only drawback is that its not air play capable with I Phone but just plugged in a cable in the auxiliary jack in the back and bang ready to play music.

I just spent a couple of days setting this up, and I'm very happy with my choice. (I use 1 pair of Kef C-80 speakers.)
Phono and CD are clear, as is a streamed radio signal from my computer.
Different instruments are really distinct.
The FM antenna connection is new to me. A converter is supplied, which provides a threaded BNC type connector, such as on a TV antenna connection. I use a TV HD flat, square antenna, and after some placement adjustment, my FM reception is excellent.
(There is no twin-lead folded dipole FM antenna connection.)
Overall, this is much better than the component systems I used to put together in the late 60s.
