The Candyman 3: Day of the Dead Blu-ray has a 1080p transfer that is overall a pleasant affair, but not a knockout. The film appears to be derived from a dated master that has not had a huge amount of work done to it. From scene to scene, the film can look either incredibly clear and nuanced or a bit soft and lacking fine detail. However, this is the best that the film has ever looked on home entertainment. The audio quality is decent, but the film itself is not a good movie. It has a meandering story and wooden performances, but Tony Todd's dedicated performance brings some much-needed energy to the feature. The real treat for fans is the extensive bonus features, including interviews with Todd and the rest of the team. Overall, the Candyman 3: Day of the Dead Blu-ray is a decent release with a good selection of bonus features.

Glad Best Buy seems to always carry new Vestron Video releases. Lived up to expectations per usual!

So word on the street (my own opinion and comments I've read) is that this movie is a good deal better than people remembered it being. I bought this blu-ray to complete my Candyman collection and to cautiously give the movie another look. It really was a pleasant surprise as it held up better than I remember. I almost wonder if its original presentation -- straight to VHS or cable airings, all in cropped 4:3 standard definition quality, is what mostly gave this the reputation of being significantly worse than the first two entries. Personally, I enjoy this movie more than the second. Disc gives a good presentation of the movie with a nice amount of extra features and an entertaining and informative commentary track. Recommended! If you like any of the other Candyman films, give this one a chance.

Not the best sequel in the world, but its good to complete your collection and has entertainment value. Wanted to comment on the bluray, Vestron does a great job, likely the best this release will ever receive.

After years of waiting, the third Tony Todd led-Candyman film is on blu-ray. Would recommend.

Excited to finally watch this! My only gripe was that the slipcover arrived slightly damaged.

Candyman 3: Day of the Dead-Was the final feature film as the original Candyman-I dug it when it first came out and I dug this remastered special edition. He only shows up in Candyman 4 via a CGI super imposed character. This disc is got some good special features.

Ok Candyman 3 is not good! Haha! No one ever accused Donna D'Errico of being a good actress. That aside, of course Tony Todd always comes with his A game. AND! a very impressive release from Vestron. Beautiful cover art and a healthy amount of special features. That you'd think a Marvel movie would come with.

Im glad it was finally released for blu-ray as I've had the other films for a while with a missing piece. Im not disappointed!

had a little trouble purchasing it they couldn’t find it in the system but eventually i was able to purchase the blu ray and am glad to add it to my collection

Tony Todd will always be the Candyman so I had to get this one into my collection

I have this movie DVD and had to get it on [Blu-ray] I also would 1 and 2 on [Blu -ray].

this has a bunch of bonus fetures, if you enjoy learning about the production this is for you.
