Bought this item because I had a coupon. Wish I had chosen another brand. There isn't anyway to lock the bag (zippers) and there isn't a quick access feature to the camera like some of the Lowepro models. Would return it if I could find the receipt.

    Awesome Camera Bag!

This is my first DSLR camera bag and I am very pleased with it. The inside of the bag can hold alot. I currently have my DSLR with the extra lens in it and there is plenty of room for more. I like that it hsa the side pouch that can hold my little point and shoot camera as well. It is a comfortable backpack to wear and the padding seems to keep the equipment protected from minor bumps. Honestly, I wish I would have bought something like this years ago even to hold my video camera and point and shoots. The only "bad" thing I could say about it is that there is not easy access to interior of the bag. I find myself having to stop, put the bag down and then unzipping the bag otherwise all the contents will fall out. However, overall I am very pleased with this bag!

This bag would work pretty well depending on how much you need to carry. It was not big enough for me. Also did not care for the way it felt while wearing it. It seems to drop low on your back and not sit on your shoulders.

    Canon Backpack

I received the pack yesterday and transfered all of my gear from a shoulder bag to this backpack. It holds all of my gear with more room if needed. I have a Nikon D7100 with a 18x140 lens attached. A 50mm and a 55x200 lens stored plus my battery pack, a hot shoe flash plus all of the cables and power cords. It looks like you could carry a mono-pod on one side and a tri-pod on the other. The only thing that doesn't come with the backpack is a rain coat for the bag. For the price this is a great buy. The only down side would be Canon knowing I have a Nikon inside.

Unbias review on first camera storage backpack

Ok, Where to begin... I have not owned any other backpack sort of storage system for my camera (Canon 550d) hence this is my first experience. When I first purchased I was skeptical with the size of it, perhaps it being too large and bulky for ease of travel, but I am not having that problem anymore. This is not a small pack, and not a large pack, (Haha, not too helpful of elaboration huh). It is, as the photo shows, and I would say the best part about it, is there is velcrow inside the back which gives you the ability to create a more or less custom storage area. Currently I have the 550d with a 70-300 Canon lense attached, a Canon 28-55 lense, a Vivitar (bleh) fisheye lense, and a Sigma (yay) 50mm. They all fit in it comfortably and still there is more space! Once you open the main pouch you can have ease of access to all of your larger equiptment which would make it simple for quicker changeouts. The pack is padded which I find a big plus should you have to set it down quick and get out your camera or lense, you dont have to worry about breaking something. (given, you should not slam it, i do not believe it to be armor). There are various pouches on the inside and on the front which you would easily be able to store flash cards and other equiptment. The only thing I do not like about it, is tri-pod storage. there are straps on the sides as well as the bottom where you can strap down your tri-pod, but my tripod is a larger (so to speak) one and strapping it horizontal on the bottom would make me too wide, and the strap on the (either) side is only one so it can be a bit wobbly, although secure. This is just my smaller nit-pick. It does what it needs to do (hold equiptment safely, and secure, which it does excellent) I feel as if I am starting to sound redundant, so all in all, I would reccomend this to s friend, and I would but it again should mine ever get lost or broke.

We purchased the bag to replace a smaller camera bag. After using it once or twice on a weekly basis, the zipper pulls started breaking off and the seams are coming unstitched. I could understand if we were trying to use it professionally, but for just a hobbyist, it should have been more durable. We have contacted Cannon, but have not gotten anywhere with them yet.

Live a fairly far distance from store. We purchased a larger bag at Best Buy but didn’t have the return with us. When we went back we were told we couldn’t return because it had been 17 days and was outside of return policy. I have spent close to $2000 on their store in the last 6 months. Pretty disappointed. Amazon here I come.

I have a Canon 60D with an 18-135mm lens and a 70-300mm lens. I had a LowePro bag at first and had a lot of trouble getting all of the pieces organized in the bag. They fit.but it was tight and access to what I needed was difficult. Exchanged that bag for my current Canon one and am glad I did. My Canon bag easily and safely holds all of my equipment and is definitely an easy access bag. It is very versatile and sturdy. The way it is set up makes for easy arrangement with regard to all I want to carry in the bag. The Lowe Pro bag was more expensive even though it was the same capacity as the Canon bag. The Canon bag holds so much more than the LowePro due to the arrangement of the space. It is holding up great! The one feature the LowePro had that I wish the Canon bag had is the pull-out "raincoat" that covers the bag and keeps the rain out if you get caught in a rain shower. I can work with that though. I highly recommend this Canon Camera Bag.

Had for a week on trip and had the following issues 1-zippers bind with the material. Maybe have a different type of zipper. 2-weak zippers. Two of the zippers broke off and had to open with out the handle(for lack of a better word). 3-I plan on returning and after only one week of use,.

I'll be honest. This bag was not my first choice.Mainly because of the green color I was not too fond of. But the first bag I purchased had to be returned because it was not big enough to hold my 200-500mm lens. After having this bag for about a year now, I fully appreciate the size and quality. This bag holds everything! I currently have in my bag 200-500 mm lens 50 mm macro lens 18-55 mm lens 18-135 mm lens 70-200 mm lens Canon XTI Camera Body Canon 60D Camera Body 430EX Flash Several filters, batteries, and memory cards.. As you can see it holds just about everythin I could ever need.

Even my Sony a700 fits like a glove in this beautiful, versatile piece of backpackery. I've got a large lens attached to the camera itself along with another and a flash with plenty of room to spare, and I need not worry about the safety of my equipment for this is pure quality being dealt with. Custom Velcro arrangements are a must and can be done with ease. May need to buy more accessories just to fill it up. Don't take my word for it-- go to a best buy and revel in its awesomeness, but beware, you wont be able to resist. Anyway its pretty sweet and I've enjoyed it....though some people may treat it like a normal backpack....trust no one.
