Although it adds additional weight this is great if you want to use ef lenses on the RF system.

If you have a Canon EOS R or RP and a collection of EF lenses, it makes perfect sense to get this mount.

It does exactly what it needs to do, and what do you want to do. And it does this perfectly. There’s really not much more to say about it, other than that the built quality is great.

Canon quality as expected. Save money and use your old EF lens on the EOS R camera.

I was able to use any of my lenses with this adapter.

I think it's quite expensive for what it does. It's an adaptor so you can use the EF lenses with your canon R. Also give it a control ring feature so it works like the RF lenses. You can configure it so it'll perform a desired camera function. Or change iso, f stop, aperture, exposure comp... Etc. A must have if you wish to use your collection of older lenses with the new Canon R
