It's amazing but you need the perfect lens to compliment it. It took some getting use to from the 70d. But now I have way better understanding

Love this camera. I had a Sony A6000, wanted a full frame camera and after a lot of research i settled for the 5D mark III. My fear was learning how to use the Canon after getting used to the Sony. My other concerns was the weight of the camera because the Sony is very light. All in all the transition has been smooth. looking forward to talking great photos with my 5DIII

This camera is absolutely amazing.. Either you want to take some pictures of your kids playing tag in the backyard or you want to run a professional photography business. It will get the job done and you will not be disappointed. Best purchase I have ever made. I recommend the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art lens.

Great high iso performance vs my old 60d. Solid build and rugged

I wanted to add a third Canon EOS 5D Mark III body to my kit. The body feels great in my hands and all the controls are easily reached.

This is my 4th Canon camera, from a film slr to a couple of Rebels, the 60D, and now the 5DMkIII. Yes, the body is expensive in the grand scheme of things, but it is exactly what a workhorse should be. Strong. Solid. It feels from the first touch like a crafted machine and not a piece of hardware. Totally worth it.

I purchased this for my daughter who is a professional photographer. It's very versatile. High quality. I would recommend!

I am an avid hobbyist photographer most of my pictures are for family and fun..love the HDR and multiple exposure in camera functions. Love the layout of the buttons on the back. came from a Canon 1D mkiii so I love the option to record to diffferent cards..have only played with video a couple of times but quality is awesome

I've been wanting to upgrade from the Mark 2 and it's been the best investment ever. This bad boy is flawless! Not that I like shooting in low light scenarios, but slap on a prime lens and this will take amazing photos.

This camera lives up to all the good reviews that it gets. Its a workhorse for the professional yet not too complex yet for the semi-pro. The incremental improvements made by Canon for this version upgrade proves that Canon is listening to its customer base. Definitely a great camera for the long haul.

I have been traveling in Europe with the camera and find that it is very easy to create beautiful images. It is a bit heavy and requires a strap like the Blackrapid for extended use. The ability to shoot high resolution videos is a bonus.

Upgraded from a crop sensor body, and this full frame sensor blew me away. Love the 5Diii!

I had been waiting for the Mark IV to come out for far too long with no release date. Decided to buy the Mark III, and am very happy. Great camera body that does everything that I need. I've shot great photos and videos, and am very happy with it

This is a great camera for any professional or serious amateur photographer. The auto-focus is much improved over the previous 5DmkII, the camera feels better built, and is overall more pleasing to use.
