A very nice improvement from the 5D Mark III--it feels very refined and polished. Integrated WiFi and GPS are a big plus, improvements in sensor technology.

Upgraded from 70D Have been taking some beautiful sharp pictures. Really love the touch screen controll, solid build, and the improved dynamic range

It has speed, it has features, and most importantly, the autofocus capabilities to make photography fun and easy or the manual features to be creative

Own older Canons and very happy with them. But the resolution, the WiFi connection, the touch screen, the controls are all so advanced on this camera.

Has great lowlight capabilities as well as great resolution. Only a tiny tiny bit slower for focusing but great quality images!

This is my first full frame camera. I upgraded from the 80D which is a great camera but I was looking for better low light performance. So far, this camera has met my expectations and is an excellent addition to my growing Canon equipment list. (The 1DX would be a step up for my use, but I found the price, size and weight prohibitive).

I'm impressed...I've just upgraded from 7D and everything turned up...the image, the features, the easy way... I'm happy about my choice....

The Mark IV is a great upgrade, both still and video from Canon's 6D. You will notice immediately the improved photo quality, especially in low light conditions. I am using this camera as a hybrid still and video documenter and if this is what you are planning to you is for, you will not be disappointed. Note: 4K recording is at a 1.74 crop. Also, if you want C-Log it is a $100 upgrade through Canon (but it is well worth it)

As a 30 year professional photographer I'm continually upgrading my equipment and the 5D MkIV will join my 5D MkIII and two 5D SRs as part of my Canon gear. Nikon and Sony offer credible alternatives to the MkIV but, in my opinion, the robust build of the bodies and lenses as well as Real Quality Pixels, Very high-quality camera raw files and Canon's deep technology base add up to a superior choice. This being said, I always look to competitors and would be happy to change brands if a credible alternative presented its self.

Great camera, use it for all of my events and it never fails. The battery does run out quickly so I would suggest buying an extra.

I love my camera , but there was not one person in the store the day I brought it who knew anything about cameras. Very disappointing. The gentleman who waited on me keep telling me to go home and order it on line . I would like to take a class but Erie best buy has no classes , I would have to drive two hours to a best buy that has classes . you need to improve on this . I wanted to order a extra battery but no one knew what kind of battery it took.

My first opportunity came up when I was asked to supply photos of our church for our new member directory. Used the Canon EOS 5D MK IV with both a Canon 17-40 f/4 L and a 24-105 f/4 L for this project. Took pictures inside and outside. Inside used both auto ISO and for HDR used both 100 and 200 ISO. Was very pleased with the results. For my second project I used my Tamron 70-300 to take pictures of a bowling ball hitting the pins. The sequence when the bowler got a strike was excellent. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've owned many top end Canon dslr cameras. This camera is one of the top. Easy to use menus and options. Photo and 4K video top notch.

If you are looking for a work horse camera, this is the one for you. This camera is for those starting out in photography all the way up to the professional level. Great for photos with 32 megapixels and amazing dynamic range. It is also great for videographers shooting 4k and full HD at 60fps. Great LCD touch screen, but doesn't swivel out. Don't forget to buy some L series canon lenses. The golden trio: 16mm-35mm, 24mm-70mm f2.8, and 70mm-200mm f2.8.
