I currently own the Canon 1Dxii and purchased the Canon 5Dii as a back up and immediately feel in love with it. The camera is FANTASTIC, low ISO performance is amazing, I've pushed it to 8K ISO and pictures are grain free. The back touch screen is fantastic, Live View Shooting with this camera is AMAZING. The burst are awesome and the 30meg picture quality with the ability to shoot Small or Medium Raw Files is fantastic. This camera surpasses the 5DMii performance and is in a class of it's own.

Upgraded from a MKII, better colors, better low light, touch screen, SD card, lots of focus points. Waited along time to upgrade since the MKII was great, now this will be my main for several years.

This is a good upgrade from my Mark III. Canon has made some very good improvements to include not only the higher resolution and the WiFi and GPS but also a greater flexibility in the menus. Focus is very fast and precise plus improved options in the menu for how I want it to act. I like the touch screen, got used to that on my 70D, makes it very easy to change settings. Better dynamic range and high ISO performance are big pluses. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've been using a Rebel T6 for almost 2 years and knew I had hit my limit on the abilities of the camera body - so upgrade it was! I did a lot of research (knowing I wanted to stay with Canon) and found that the reliability of a DSLR over mirrorless was what I was looking for. I am so in love with all of the dynamic range this full-frame, low-light-loving camera gives me.

I have had the Mark III for years now, and as a professional photographer I got a ton of use out of it. So far the Mark IV is even more impressive. I haven't used it a lot at this point but setting it up is still very similar to the previous Mark, still about the same weight, atleast I didn't notice a difference, and now touch screen! Overall you won't be disappointed with a camera in this series!

I've been meaning to upgrade my equipment, and I'm glad I decided on this camera. The camera quality is a great step up from my Canon 70D. This is a high quality professional camera that has been helpful in my freelance work.

I purchased the 5D Mark IV as an upgrade from the 6D and am so happy with my decision. Much better dynamic range, and no comparison on the AF. The AF is very comparable to my wildlife camera, the 7D Mark II. I had a chance to take it on a photography trip shortly after purchasing, and 6000 images later, I am still quite happy with it. Also found I used the touch screen menus much more than I was expecting. Looking forward to more time with it and giving the 4K video a go.

The new 5D Mark IV camera does not disappoint in features, or quality. It's a professional full frame camera packed with all the latest goodies, from built in wifi, GPS and touch screen functionality. If you are a canon person and are use to their menus you'll feel right at home and will be up and running with this camera in no time. The image quality is superb 30.4MP, fast 7fps, 61 point AF system.... I am extremely impressed and pleased with this camera.

A month into using this and I can’t put it down. Every day I feel like I unlock and learn something new. There is a definite learning curve if you have limited DSLR experience. There are a number of guides and Youtube videos to help you understand this wonderful piece of camera gear.

Straight out of the box on auto settings my child, (age 9), was able to shoot pics that would be par with professional photographers. Toss in some knowledge and added skill and this camera will make you see the world through a different view. This will be the last camera I ever buy.

This was suppose to be my next step up from a Canon 40D. Oops I guess I forgot to use baby steps. I wanted to purchase a full frame DSLR with a high increase in over all picture quality and size, the 5D Mark IV definitely qualifies. Once I compared the two cameras it was like the 40D was a camera phone, I guess that explained why it only had 10.1 mega pixel. I am extremely excited and satisfied with my purchase.
