For the money I'd say Canon short changed its customers for video. Old codec and no clean hdmi out for 4K video makes this a one dinernsional camera for stills only. In my opinion the Sony A7r ii is a much better value, which is why I exchanged my 5D iv for the Sony A7 Rii

Well worth the upgrade. Came from 60d, be aware that several triggers do not have compatibility with this version just yet.

The 5D Mark IV is the most superior upgrade Canon has done. Great low light capabilities and spot on focus accuracy.

I have always loved and owned Canon cameras. However, I bought this one and my colors were SO YELLOW. I hated it. I decided to return and jump to mirrorless and so glad I did!!

First and foremost I don't really do video so the video limitations were never a concern for me. This camera is great, wonderful colors fantastic dynamic range and a layout and menu system that allows the photographer to really get the shot. Not the cheapest but if in your range a can't miss camera.

I decided to stay with my EF lenses I like the new improvements over Mark III but it also burns the battery when you use them. Still wonder about moving on from EF
