I like the camera but I am disappointed adobe Photoshop it doesn't have the raw file converter.

It wasn't a bad camera but need a camera with more features for what I was doing.

I needed a backup camera for a wedding I was shooting and this was the perfect one! I could use the lens’ I already had which was even better! And the WiFi is great

I was very excited to get the newest model of the Canon line up but have been 100% unsatisfied for the amount of money spent. I use my Mark III and this one sits in the bag. Best Buy great to work, this is a Canon issue.

I've been wanting a full frame for couple of years now. I was going to get the 5D Mark III but figured I should wait for Mark IV so it'll have the features such as GPS and WiFi. Touchscreen is a nice welcome in the xD series. I own the 60D, 7D Mark II and now this. It does take great 1080P but 4K is somewhat disappointing. However, since my primary use of the camera is photography so it's not an issue for me. Not sure why Canon decided to use old codec but it's what it is. Hopefully Magic Lantern will fix that issue. Other than that it's a great camera!!

I bought this camera the same day it came out as an upgrade to the beloved Canon 5D MIII and I was in love with its jpegs files right away. I took it with me to a photography trip to both Yellowstone and Teton National Parks and coming back I was surprised with the quality of the RAW files using the newly upgraded LR: color, dynamic range, shadow details, etc are improved compared to the MarkIII. I don't do videos so I can't say anything in favor or against the camera in that regards but as a "photo" camera is more than I can hope for. Did I mentioned that I got this camera at a local Best Buy at 0% interest for 24 months? If you are serious about photography this is the best camera. Period!

I upgraded to the Mark IV from my 60d and it's totally worth it. Got 24-70mm USM II along with it and it's perfect. Shoots so well in low light. I don't' really use the 4k video because it's not for my purpose. Love the touch screen, very intuitive. Wifi and GPS can burn the battery quickly but I have extra batteries. The best feature is being able to program the buttons for basically everything including focusing, metering. I can use AI Focus and Servo simultaneously.The price is a bit high at the time I purchased it, but BestBuy adjusted the price when it went on sale so that was a plus.

If you are just getting into DSLRs and comparing Canon 5D Mark IV with others, go with Canon. For the price, you will not get a better camera. You may be able to find a comparable one but it will not be as good! Make sure to get C Log through Canon if your camera did not have it when you bought it. Make sure pair your camera with one of the L lenses Canon has. It does not have to be top of the line L. Start with Canon 24-105mm f/4L One of the best overall lenses Canon has ever made! Everytime i watch youtube camera reviews i end up buying the camera they trash. There are so many so-called experts in youtube but i found out that these experts were paid by the manufacturer or they get something in return from them in some form if not cash. If you watch them they have nothing good to say but frustration on the products they trash. I purchased 5d mk iv few days ago and i went out this morning and this is the result. Go figure... just shoot dont be so technical that you forgot how to take a good picture.

We love our 5d MK IV. Great upgrade from our 6D. Works way better in low light conditions.

I needed a camera that would take great photos and video. I chose this over the Sony a7r ii because it was said to be better for photography. It absolutely lives up to the canon photography reputation. The ar7 does record full frame 4k and supports sLog, but for someone who shoots as many photos as videos these are small concessions to make. The Video quality is still phenomenal and while m-jpeg creates large file sizes they are also great for post processing.
