Automatic settings produce great shots and if you know how to use all the custom features and settings the pictures come out even better and you can do a lot of creative projects. The included lens was respectable. The one complaint would be a complicated video movie mode. Auto focus is not auto. You have to keep forcing the camera to autofocus as you video different distances by pushing a button each time. Takes some getting used to but not really made for movies. If you are vlogging in one plane you will get some nice detail however.
