I started with a rebel and just upgraded to this camera. WOW! I love it! Easy to use, great photos, excellent upgrade! I am so happy and highly recommend! There is no flash which I was iffy about at first but it makes it easier for when I'm in places that flash is not allowed! In love!

After decades of shooting film cameras, I got my first DSLR in 2005; a Canon EOS 20D. It was the first digital camera I'd tried that had image quality that was acceptable to me. Some years later I added a 7D, and relegated the 20D to spare-camera duty. Then I got a 6D, my first "full frame" digital, and I was simply amazed at the low-light performance; the big, bright viewfinder; and the quality of even my largest prints. I recently sold the 6D and upgraded to the 6D Mark II, and it has even higher image quality, faster autofocus, and -- a first for me -- an articulated LCD panel. The latter makes shooting odd-angle shots a snap. To say I could hardly be happier would be an understatement.

I had been wanting to upgrade from my current T3i DSLR that I purchased initially to start shooting more photography. I knew that in order to upgrade I had to look at the Mark line of Canon. I had used it before in the past on loan and had fallen in love with the images it produced. I would highly recommend this to someone who's looking to move from a standard DSLR to a more professional model. The WIFI and Bluetooth capabilities let it you shoot and send right to your phone. Which allows clients to view the images rather quickly on their phone or tablet. The lens is amazing and helps capture a wide range of subjects.

Canon is my choice of cameras, I have been shooting with them since the 1970's. This is my first digital full frame camera and it was the perfect next step for me to take. The camera has great features and creates beautiful images. The 24-105mm lens kept me going for a long time, having a great range to shoot with. The price was reasonable to get into the full frame arena. I love shooting with it.

I’ve had this camera for about a month now and I love it. Coming from owning a Canon t5i for the past 5 years, this camera is definitely a level up! It’s perfect for those that want to step up to full frame without having to pay an arm, a leg, and a mortgage to get it. And in some areas the 6d mark ii actually surpasses the 5d mark IV. One of which is Canon’s new Digic 7 processor that the 6d mark ii houses. I use my camera for both photo and video, and even though the 6d mark ii does not have 4K for video, it is still a great choice for creators, and to be honest, you don’t necessarily need 4K. One day yes, I will see it as a necessity, but for now as long as you have the skills and a passion for creating, 1080 will do just fine. Today, I’m still playing with the camera to see what new features I haven’t yet uncovered, but I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone that is an established photographer and/or videographer and is ready to leave the crop sensor behind and move up to full frame!

One of the best cameras I have owned so far. This full-frame camera with 24-105mm F/4L IS II produces very clear and crisp photos.

This is my first DSLR. I really enjoy using it because first it takes nice photos. It gives you different photo mode options but i usually stick to Manual Mode but all up to you. Also this camera is Touch screen. It makes it easier and faster to select. Other than that, this camera is pretty good.

I purchased the Canon EOS 6D Mark II to use in my classroom. I typically shoot with the 5D full frame and I was impressed with this camera, especially for the price.

I've been shooting Canon cameras since 1992. First the Canon EOS Elan for years before going digital to the Canon D30, then the 5D Mk II and then to the Canon 6D Mk I, and now, the Canon 6D MK II. For my needs ("advanced amateur") shooting portraits, landscape and some sports, this is a great upgrade. The flip-out touchscreen is a nice addition. But for me, the best upgrade from the Mk I is the additional focus points. I'm enjoying the new 24-105mm f/4L IS II lens over the Mk I version that I previously owned. The lens has a slightly different feel to it, but the best part is the lock feature which keeps the lens set to 24mm. This is nice when you're walking and the camera is slung over your shoulder. With the Mk I version of the lens, the lens would "open" to the 105mm mark and hang lower. It's nice being able to lock it in place. If you like the Canon EOS system, this is a great entry-level full-frame camera.

Awesome camera! I bought this as replacement for Canon 7D. I love everything about this. It’s sharp and very quick. A little on the heavy side but still lighter than my 7D. It’s a great purchase !

Upgraded from my 60D and while somewhat intimidating at first, this was the best decision I could have made for my side hobby. Pictures are crystal clear and the full frame setup is amazing. Best choice ever.

Replacement for the old rebel T5, which is a decent camera in its own right. But this blows it out of the water in every way. You definitely get what you pay for. The lens that came with the one I bought is also outstanding. It is tricky to use if you aren’t familiar with cameras or what all the settings do, so if you’re new to dedicated cameras, I’d start with something a little cheaper to learn the ropes on.

Simply amazing. 24-105 mm lens is also amazing. But for events I generally use 25-70mm, but 105 is great for videos also. It gives me an extra reach. As my vision is not great to manually focus, the touch focus on the LCD just is a boom. IQ is great. Video quality is simple stunning.
