Bought this as an upgrade to my canon 70d. This was a great upgrade. Better sensor, better auto focus, more shots per second (7 vs 10) better live view, and much better video. I couldnt be happier.

The camera isn't as fabulous as its reviews. It might be a good choice for a beginner in photography though. The 90D is a crop sensor camera, therefore, it is great for macro work, but cannot capture fine details in landscape photography.

Shoots good 4K videos good pictures my only problem it’s hard to get this camera to focus due that it has no image stabilizer built inside the 90d if I’m not using a lens with a stabilizer motor however I’m still learning

After EXTENSIVE research on which camera to purchase, I've decided to go with the newly released 90D. 4K video recording at 29.97fps, Canon's improved Dual Pixel AF, and the included headphone jack for audio monitoring were HUGE selling points to me. I also went with the 18-135mm lens simply to have more range when it comes to shooting, vs being stuck with the 18-55mm kit lens. But I'll soon be purchasing more lenses anyways, this lens in particular is better for people who want an "all around" lens.
Pros- 32.5 MP, DIGIC 8 processor, Dual Pixel AF with 45 all cross type AF points, non cropped 4K video (yes it is an APS-C sensor so it already has a 1.6x crop but there is no additional crop when shooting 4K like older DSLR'S) Feels great in the hand (good grip, good build quality) and Canon's easy to use interface is always a win.
Cons- Although lighter than the 80D by 29 grams, it's still a heavy camera compared to modern day Mirrorless cameras. Being just released a few weeks ago at the time of this review it's pricey. Assuming the price will fluctuate when people see this review, I paid $1,599 for the 90D, 18-135mm lens, battery, and the battery charger. Would have been nice to see a creator bundle (mic, extra battery, carrying case!!!)
Conclusion:
The market is slowly moving to mirrorless cameras, but this DSLR still has some things I need as a film maker and photographer that a mirrorless camera still doesn't have at a reasonable price. This camera even has many features that new mirrorless cameras have! It's the best of both worlds. Grab yourself a 90D if you're looking to upgrade, or get it as your first camera like me.

A Versatile DSLR for Photography and Videomaking

The Canon EOS 90D is a powerful DSLR that captures sharp, high-resolution imagery. It shoots 4K video without a crop, making it ideal for video producers. The frame rates are perfect for capturing quick shots, and the autofocus works well for still imagery, especially portraits.
Manual focus is smooth, and exposure is clear and precise. Battery life is long-lasting. The camera’s build is solid for hand-holding, but it’s a bit heavy, making it less ideal for travel. A tripod would be helpful for easier handling during longer shoots.
Overall, it's a versatile camera for both photography and videomaking, making it a great choice for both enthusiasts and professionals.

Canon has been knocking it out of the park with their xxD series... I've owned a 50D, 80D, and now a 90D. I've never been disappointed with those previous cameras, and the 90D is no exception.
The camera feels great to hold, a bit on the larger/heavier/chunkier side, so those with small hands may not love the feel. It feels very solid either way. The ergonomics of this camera are excellent; controls are placed in logical locations, and are easily accessible both during shooting and looking at your shots afterward. The touch screen is easily readable, and the flip-out screen makes shooting in different locations/configurations a breeze.
I highly recommend this camera both for the quality of the build on the unit itself, and the resultant pictures that you get afterward.

Love that it runs for hours. Doesn’t overheat ; however the autofocus does not work sometimes. To focus I manually focus the subject. It’s a great camera the flash work mostly when it’s dark. But when it does the photos are stunning. To use the flash i would recommend to use it on sunsets.. Also it’s a bit heavy but Overall I love it. I can easily connect it to my ph and download the photos to my phone. And I can take photos by touching the screen which I love.
